Im debating between the z1 ecutek or and uprev tune from and tuner. But im leading towards the uprev. Dont get me wrong. z1 did a beautiful job on this. Also your car looks beautiful bro
Thanks I really appreciate the support 💯. So to me I would say it honestly depends on what your goals are. If you are staying NA then I would say UpRev will be fine. If you plan on boosting then I would lean more towards EcuTek. I heard that has way more options when it comes to boosted applications. If EcuTek would’ve been around when I originally purchased my tune I would’ve gone with it. Both platforms are good.
@beezyrider yea. I was planning to stay at N/A. I do want to boost it, but it's a drift/daily. Again, thank you for doing this review, doh. Stay safe, sir, and God bless you.
I feel like you would be happy either route. Although I went with Z1 for this option for the mail in tune, when I do my next tune I plan on going with Moncef and Admin Tuning. No disrespect to Z1 at all, but I’ve seen nothing but great work from Moncef. Plus he does remote tuning for boosted applications which is what I’m working towards. I wish you the best with whichever option you choose. Thank you and you be safe as well. God bless 🙏🏼
When I lock my doors from the inside with my driver side lock buttons my diver side lock has never worked I have to manually set it would that make a difference to not let me program when you unlock and unlock procedure to program the key
Hmmm that’s a good question. It might not let you do the programming since the electric motor isn’t working for the lock. I’m not sure if the bcm would need to see that input for the procedure to start.
I wouldn’t say it necessarily gained any horsepower but removing the the pulley reduces some drag on the motor. This also reduces the chance of this pulley going out on you.
Don't understand how much this will effect your motor. Cause your intake is still the same size and the upper pendulums hole and space inside is still the same size. Seems like it would be making a bottleneck. I think if you get a bigger intake and make your upper pendulum's hole larger and get a upper pendulum spacer and maybe do some port and polish, will actually make a huge benefit for the larger throttle body. JMO.
I am running a plenum spacer already. It was the first mod I did to my Z. I have a ported upper plenum sitting in my garage as well as lower manifold. Also going to be boosting soon so all should be good.
Not really sure how much power I might have gained. If I was to guess it might be around 15-20hp peak. The power curve feels a lot smoother compared to stock.
Honestly I have no idea lol. I kept playing around with the cruise control switches then it finally worked. But I’m not sure if that was the cause because I wasn’t able to switch maps until I sent my ecu back again
I got it from eBay. It’s the NS N style Front Bumper Chin Lip. Not sure if this link will work but it’s a shot www.ebay.com/itm/222227870250?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=rtTkYAGbSlu&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=9ZrqiVxXRpm&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
I got the spoiler from eBay. It already came color matched. My wheel specs are 19x9.5 +22 front and 19x11 + 22 rear. Front tires are 245 35 and rear are 275 30
So in the “included” part did u pick arc license or the arc license with burbles? Or can i just get the $100 arc license and ask for only 3 maps (pops n bangs eco and perf)?
I picked ARC license in the included section which was $100. You can have up to 5 maps so they can be whatever you choose. I’m not 100% sure if they will give a pops and bangs map on yours without the burble map. I think I got lucky with my tune 🤷🏽♂️
so whats the process of choosing maps do you put them down on the paper or is it in a separate form also how do you exit your arc maps and go back to the base map
Thank you! I actually got the lip from eBay www.ebay.com/itm/222227870250?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=rtTkYAGbSlu&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=9ZrqiVxXRpm&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
