Hi Mr. Gregory, I am from Azerbaijan and would like to thank you for a such educational channel you have created. (I had used your previous Arcmap tutorial Videos to improve my skills). I wish you all the best
Thank you Orkhan Abdullayev, stay tuned, I am currently recording part two of three for Lab X. Due to teaching remotely this quarter at the University of Washington, I will be creating nearly all new content! Best wishes for good health Orkhan Abdullayev!
My pleasure, glad it helped. Thank you for your comment! This is an old video, if you go to my RU-vid page you will see more current information. Please subscribe!
Thanks! Really helpful. So if a layer already has a projection but I need to change it to another so that all layers have the same projection, I use project, right?
Census.gov. I have plenty of other videos regarding the download of US Census Data on my RU-vid page. Apologies for the late reply, I wasn't getting notifications. Please subscribe!
how do i import road settings? im wanting to put this is my GRL3 v.2 " Tiger ESRI Road Shapefiles by State - grlevelx.redteamwx.com/TN.zip " how do i import this to the software ?? NO ONE HAS MADE A DETAILED HOW TO VIDEO ABOUT THIS AT ALL -_-
Use the GCS and Projected coordinate systems based on your needs for accuracy. In Tacoma, WA, USA we usually use State Plane HARN South because it is the most accurate for our needs.
Thank you for your comment, sorry for the 3 year delay in seeing it! :-) By now, I'm sure you figured it out, but I would download (if possible) a gdb of the file and use that.
can i convert classified landuse raster map to polygon?? if i can then how to do it?? because i have tried many times to convert my landuse raster map to polygons in arcgis using the same method you have described above but each time the result showing error..please help..
Thank you for your comment, sorry for the 4 year delay in seeing it! :-) I'd restart ArcMap for one, then check to see if the Raster was still 'compressed' or in a zip file.
Excellent Video!! Very Helpful!! Do you have any tutorial regarding a complex roads network which includes establishing driving direction which considers one ways, U Turns, Over-passes, speed-bumps, Landmarks etc etc??
So sorry, I didn't see this comment/question until today. I do not have a video that discusses that, ESRI help would be my go-to. If I had time, I WOULD create such video.
