Breath of Life is faith-based content, resources, and programs from a contemporary urban perspective for those looking for hope and guidance. We believe that every Breath we take is a Testimony that God is consistent, that he loves us, and has a plan for our lives.
Breath of Life began broadcasting in 1974. It was the dream of pastor and recording artist Walter Arties to create a program that would appeal to African-Americans looking for hope and guidance.
From 1997 to 2021, Pastor Charles D. Brooks, Walter L. Pearson, Jr., and Dr. Carlton P. Byrd all served as Speakers/Directors of Breath of Life. Thousands of people have been reached through evangelistic efforts and have come into a saving relationship with Christ.
Our current Speaker/Director, Pastor Debleaire K. Snell took on the position January 2022. Pastor Snell plans to increase the awareness and reach of Breath of Life through Digital Media, teaching series, books, and evangelism.
i understand what you or saying we or never a long we do have god but you cant make people like you or. accept you in you can go around people. in try to open up to people. i have went around people but they still just still did not like me when you live for god people dont wont to have anyting to do with i dont no what to tell you all
I understand if this is your experience. It's not a universal experience though. If you live for God, you will draw others to you by radiating the love Jesus talks about and demonstrated. Love is lacking in the world. When we, being image bearers, bring God's love into the world, it does not make us difficult to be around in all instances.
God bless you Ps Snell. Ever since I started watching your sermons, I've never been the same and I hope one of these days, I'll just worship with you physically
Preach Pastor Snell! Now Oakwood Adventist University Praise Team sings like this they sound like college students, and they do not sound like Oakwood Academy has not out song them in sounding more like professional then the musical students of OU. What and answer to prayer there is a sign language person working with the choir, sure wish there was more sign language person with every Adventist Choir. What answer to prayer. God do not allow me to be a educated fool because my tutors, my school, my church, nor my educated family know how to assist me. and I have not none how been able or know how to assist myself. Lord God, please allow our personal family to be worthy fellowship with God's remnant people, without our health offending others.
Good comment about Levi’s apparent acceptance I know from my experience how the Holy Spirit works on you in your heart before outward decisions become apparent
Humility enables us to see God as Sovereign and the Giver of all good and necessary gifts and to see ourselves as needy. Every minute of the hour of the day we need God. Allow God into your life through constant prayer because He is the Sustainer of our lives.
Good topic and very relevant for me as it helped with my spiritual growth. The Lord has used Saints to help keep me when I had lost my job and was going through a very challenging phase in my life. I experienced the goodness of God, however there was a sting to the help I received, of which I praise God that I overcame. When I disagreed with some fundamental matters and set a boundary, “the help” I received was used as a snare and later a mockery and a way to put me down. A sense of shame sought to undermine this experience. Praise God that I was in therapy and could step out of shame of accepting help that God offered through the Saints no matter how the story unfolded. I remain truly grateful of accepting the help and I’m no longer feel ashamed that I once needed help and accepted it. 🙏🏾
