forums.iracing.com/discussion/60732/2024-season-2-patch-3-release-notes-2024-04-16-04#latest Latest patch seems to have adressed the issue, still no answer for my ticket other than its escalated. But hoping it wont happen again.
iRacing have been ignoring issues at this track for years. GT3s and GT4s getting damaged by the track from just racing normally on the track during VLN and 24 hour races. The usual response was "esports setups bad" (in other words "skill issue"), then they raised the minimum ride heights for GT3s at the Nordschleife and still the cars get damaged by the track. So, unlucky I guess ("skill issue").
lol reminds me of an ai gen 6 cup race I did at nhms. one of the ai managed to get their car to fully bottom out over one of the bumps going into turn 3, causing the sim to freak out and send the car's nose into the air lol
its a damn shame. im pretty new to competative sim. if i find myself sideways and trffic is coming should i stay still and pradictable or try to move out of the way?
If you are stopped on the middle of the track sideways, stay still untill you can safely rejoin. If you are on the edge you can move off the track/racing line If its safe to do so. Easiest way is to keep your relative time upp and if there are others still within seconds behind you its not safe. Sometimes especially If you are damaged aswell its just better to stop and tow.
Not your fault but definitely avoidable. If a prototype is approaching you in the esses just pick a side and stay there. Don't take every apex. It's easy to go 2 wide flat through the esses in any car in IMSA.
I wasnt driving, I agree it was avoidable by my teammate. He just didnt expect a GTP 10 laps behind a GT3 fighting for win to send it that hard or tight.
Yeah Road America showed some really bad drivers. I admittedly got into 2 accidents last week. 1 was caused by me not seeing the braking point and 1 by someone swerving and causing me to crash.
I did cause and oftrack for being a bit too late on brakes on the end of back straight, but nothing serious and instead got just collected or driven into most races. 2k is danger zone
Tell me you drive a GTP without telling me you drive a GTP. It wasnt me driving, I did 1st stint and I still wouldnt blame my teammate for a lapped car not passing safely. There was more room on right and the GTP went on the left.
Your first mistake is not forcing the GTP to go to a particular side. When you're in the middle of the track they can go either way. If you just stay to one side you force them to the other.
I wasnt driving bro, he drove into us so its his fault no matter what. Its the faster classes responsibility to pass safe and slowers to stay predictable.
Well i couldnt go more to the right, i was alrdy fully over unless i was heading into pits. If i lift im loosing 3 more positions to the guys behind. Incident caused by red i would call it imho.
Especially in night races its damn annoying with the flashing. But thats when I know to sharpen elbows, just didnt understand why he started ranting over voice and even more so after he looses it into last turn without me being involved.
The purple and yellow guy hitted us and then finished one position ahead of us. So unforutnate, their team was not paying attention ahead, the driver told us.
Just the Moza software that crashed so lost all inputs from wheel and pedals till it started upp again. Took long enough i went into the wall and got 15min repairs.
Think its more evidence of how terrible of a race it was if I can hold on to P4 with a crash, damage and repairs. Rest must have gotten even worse incidents.
at the very first moment it was a dive bomb from his part, but as the accident was just after the turn it was actually your fault for not leaving him space as the ferrari already got his front passing your rear wheels. I guess probably you went wide trying to avoid a wreck from his part, but you left him a lot of space to make the pass there, better luck next time
@@SgtMikas that's what I'm thinking, hard to even race closely when the netcode tries to suck you into an opponent, I had the same issue in street stock a couple of days ago. And again today racing the mx5s where I got taken out because of 2 guys getting sucked together
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sHA_yAkeLnw.html was the first version of the base, upgraded to concrete after that. Rebuilt again now so the version in both videos is dated, the first concrete one had the drawback of only having one door to penetrate for entry. Current one has 4 you need to get through.
My dude, it has been the horrid desync that makes up the game for the past two month's, Alpha was no better its because they bought servers in Australia and we get horrid connection now...the fuckers.
Only played the early alphas, none of the recent builds but never had any desync/lagg issues then, only the spinning enemies and random crashes/freezes this is worse... How could you break the game just before you open it up for a larger tester base?
