30:30 this moment, i think, already foreshadowed from the beginning. After you defeat Cocolia, if i remember correctly, near the place you battle her, you can find interactable thing and if you interact with it, you will get a message which is turned out to be IPC advertisment from 700 years ago. When you reply the ads offer, IPC will then reply back with surprise because they received signal from Jarilo again after 700 years.
4:04 giving march shit for not being tactful about what he went through and then not a minute later dissing him as introvert because he wants to just rest. smh donny March has a lot of guts bringing up the major boss fights when she barely had a role in them xD
I want to say that this entire Continuance mission was a bit of an eye opener as to how horror can seep into a story without there being any real horror tells or stereotypes present at first glance. Being stalked by a faceless monster named "debt" doesn't really resonate until you stop and think about it and how similar it actually is to more classic horror genre unstoppable monsters like Jason or Freddie. Over the entire game, facing any of the monsters or situations we deal with, including some of the existential horror we dealt with on the Luofu, nothing has scared me more than the slowly creeping realization that the Antimatter Legion and the Eternal Freeze wrecking Jarillo were nowhere near as terrifying as having an interstellar bank that happens to have an army at its beck and call as well as contracts with every other spacefaring civilization in the vicinity come down and basically channeling Stewie Griffin and asking for their money back. I felt actually sad watching Belobog having to consider giving up their freedom after having just finally managed to stop the advance of the Stellaron and knowing that in canon it's our fault for answering a ping from an IPC salesperson and letting them know Jarillo was still there. The adult fear of being in debt and unable to pay was really well used here. We can fight the Antimatter Legion with our bat and spear and we can wear more clothes to keep warm, but the IPC deploying one of their many weapons to nuke what is the last bastion of humanity on the entire planet if you can't pay rent for living on that same planet they just took from you is not really something you can fight against. Especially after we find out what the IPC have used in the past during that one Adventure Mission on Penacony. Jarillo has no allies aside from the Astral Express and the Express has to play at least somewhat nice with the IPC if they want to be able to actually make stops at planets that are inducted in the IPC's sphere of influence so even if I do have 30 million credits to use, the game won't let me pay up for Belobog no matter how much I want to help Bronya. It's really hard to relate to a protagonist that fights against the demon king, but a hell of a lot easier to relate to one in despair about paying the bills. The fact that Topaz is a genuinely nice person who cares only makes it harder because what she's proposing is clearly not acceptable even if she sincerely wants to help so that just adds to the realization that a lot of worlds would have and already did accept similar terms in the past. We know this because we've met people from the IPC that have attested to as much. The IPC are not even evil but they de facto take up the part of an antagonist because of their business practices despite there being a lot of good people working for it. I honestly much prefer them as the antagonists than I do Nanook and the Legion who are just standard monsters hellbent on destroying everything, even if the game says that there's motivation behind it. Nanook is the evil demon lord at this point and we're just the hero on the road to defeating them. Give me a morally grey organization hellbent on PROTECTING everything instead, that becomes antagonistic because of the ways they go about achieving their mission every day of the week. Destroying something is pretty clearly defined but protecting something can be warped to mean anything from guarding it to enslaving someone, because what better way to protect something or someone than by locking them up and "teaching" them how they should live their lives? And when you're born in that society, you have a job lined up for you and a contract signed. From the moment the cord is cut, you're working for the IPC. All for the Amber Lord! Gives me chills. Also note please that the IPC is not the IRS. 3 letters, yes, but not the same thing in the slightest. They are an equivalent to the real-world IMF. Why yes, we do have an IPC in the real world! Joy!
as much as people don't like her topaz is very smart in doing her job by approaching svarog and let her team do whatever they want in underworld to keep pressuring bronya to agree on whatever "secret trade" plan that have been laid out. As sumn saying Investing in victory means playing the long game
Also since Belobog is near where the Stellaron was then it makes sense that it would warm up first I guess? it would still take years for the entire planet to return to normal
Yeah the IPC is kinda evil, but in the sense of business over everything kinda evil, not in the we are bad people because we enjoy being bad except some members, that actually enjoy it xd.
@@aloha5461 not really, I did not even made a hint about who I am talking about and he may not even consider it evil, I do and I hate the character but yeah
9:16 cries. We never get to see this adorable skin ever again. 1:08:45 lolz it is long and the IPC is basically a huge corpo so... yeah, you're in for a long haul.
What scared me the most of people starting Penacony is the amount of Hi3 players gonna try to force Donny to play Hi3. It happens a lot to many new HSR players i follow because of peer pressure Don't get me wrong Hi3 is good game but in current state of gacha game it's not very new player friendly and extremely p2w. All my friends who used to play that game daily for years already quit sadly and so am i.
topaz is so funny skipping along with her pet Thing while actively ruining the lives of everyone in belobog 😭 i love her obvs and im glad they went with the direction they did for her character but man i cant wait until they finally show us what her [REDACTED] does
3:40 March growth let's go! 8:51 HEY! There's a stack of papers right there! 😠 10:44 March is so considerate of others~ 😊 11:00 Well, going from -50 to -10 is a considerable increase in temperature, but still harsh, yes? 12:36 _Beep. Beep. Beep. You cannot escape_ 16:17 Uh oh... General, you're acquiring... The Sense™ ~Embrace it~ 18:23 Yep! Numby~! ❤ 20:44 Magnificent. 23:40 The second you said it I knew that follow-up was coming 😆 24:48 _Okay but why though?_ 30:36 Yeah, you're tripping. 33:19 It's that Gen Z psychic damage. Still, you're not wrong. March has that cute, ditzy rizz. And if it makes you feel any better, spellcheck is flagging "rizz." 35:22 Yay, we're adding yet another thing to the list! RWBY, appreciative of "culture," and now rum! What's your pick? Spiced? Dark? I'm a spiced rum gal myself~ 39:00 _surprised pikachu_ 40:38 If that came in any later it would have scared me. 42:42 Hey, you be nice to March. ☹ 48:05 Wow, you rationalized that quick! 48:35 Let's be real; Seele would body those fools, but when fighting with the group she probably has to be worried for their safety. 49:16 No! You _will_ compliment March, and giver her head pats and boba! 😊 Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm people suck. Why can't they just say that the IPC is space Amazon if Amazon were also the US Government and leave it at that?
14:04 I ABSOLUTELY FUCKING HATE TOPAZ, no matter how much people simp for her I do not care, you'll have to see it for yourself general why my animosity towards the IPC are extremely high
I think you still lack the understanding how truly enormous the IPC is. Honestly, they are basically THE EMPIRE (in terms of size at least, maybe even bigger), just using the rules of capitalism instead of the rule of two. So even if they were to be soundly defeated here,or have an overwhelming victory, they would just rear their heads later anyway. The only difference probably would be the attitude of the people involved. So yeah there is no telling how this goes down 😊
Pretty sure "Numby" comes from word 'number' because in other translations their name is also connected to numbers (Also that trotter are good at math if i remember correctly)
