@@BooksandBusiness I notice you're doing star reviews now...what was your star rating for King of the Forgotten Darkness? *biting nails in anticipation*
I haven't read a graphic novel before, but maybe I need to try one! reading other people's experiences is such a unique way to learn history and culture (probably my favorite way lol)
Just finished reading it. Really loved the premise and pacing. Gladly Takako is not a passive protagonist (I've read many passive women and makes me mad!). Great review
A nice video. Why did I watch this video I was intrigued by the title. I was thinking I can't remember a bookshop on Portland. I was thinking about the Isle of Portland, A small isle of the south coast of England. The only thing it has in common with the USA was it Governor was John Penn the Grandson of William Penn the founder of Pennsylvania.
Having a very different interest than other friends is hard, and I think this book is a good representation for that. I love the book drawings, and your videos too. 🥰
My second video should give a clue, but hopefully not spoil for those who haven't read it yet - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TCq3QeBJ_n4.html
Ruth, I think this fits much better for your wonderful book review video as video title, "Parachute Kids: A Graphic Novel Review | BooksandBusiness | Must-Read Insights"
