How nice of you to write! I am hoping to record that piece, perhaps in October, and will upload it then. Also this one, in a proper recording! Thank you very much.
Happy to finally see a recording of you at your primary home instrument, Barry. This was somewhat overdue, I think, but hopefully not the last one! 🙂 Enjoyed the piece very much, *thanks* for playing and sharing it with us!
I may be known to be a solo pipe organ enthusiast, but I wouldn't dare to miss a skillful and stunning a-capella performance like this. It's so beautiful! (Props to the recording engineer as well --- the audio quality is superb and a pure delight to listen to on my home system.)
Beautiful playing. Pity one couldn't see you play. A beautiful 7 massive church & organ. Fantastic shots of the Int & EXt of the cathedral. Are there recordings by this comp[oser?
Sweet fantasia --- and beautifully played. I was expecting the mixtures to be way more harsh for a neo-baroque organ like this, but found them to be surprisingly mellow instead. Nice interior photographs, BTW!
Sehr schön registriert, transparent und kantabel gespielt, mit herrlichen Fotos dieser barocken Pracht! Ich erinnere mich an wundervolle Momente mit dieser Orgel und höre immer wieder, wie dieser Klang himmelwärts strebt
It's always a joy to hear you play, Barry. Thanks for this fine rendition of Bruhns' probably most famous prelude! Especially liked your registration and rich (more than normal?) ornamentation... Nice to have all these details of the organ in the video footage as well!
Thanks very much. I have played a short Christmas composition by Nowowiejski and enjoyed participating in the 2015 Pipedreams Organ Tour of Poland last June. There is a wealth of Polish material to explore. Happy New Year!
This is a very beautiful sinfonia and a splendid performance on an impressive organ! I didn't know Nowowiejski before, so thanks a lot for introducing his works to me, Mr. Jordan.
