Hey, I'm trying to make an auto turret, and I'm wandering if there's a way to make a simple on/off output that changes depending on if a target is found?
my ADHD makes this a little impossible for me :( The base physics sensor variables, are they all pertaining to just the lowest physics censor attached to the base frame and not any of the pivots?
I got an idea for a new microcontroller based on this tutorial. With the GPS position of other targets now availalbe, you could make a TCAS Microcontroller (Traffic Collision Avoidance System). By calculating the closest point of approach (CPA), determining if it is within a protected airspace around your vehicle and time to CPA calculations, you would have a working TCAS. You could go further by actually using the different colors to display targets on the screen, depending on if they are other traffic, proximate traffic, possible threats or real threats. And calculating the relative altitude difference shouldnt be a problem, since you have your own altitude and the targets altitude. I guess it would be pretty cool to slap onto a 2x2 screen, since its basically a radar showing you all aircraft with their relative altitude + - your altitude + the feature to give you traffic warnings (or even resolution advisories, if you have like a lot of time to figure that out?)
do you have a winrar version for this GPS Modules? i can't log to my steam and my account because of security issues, i have reset my passwords and i still can't get to my game to get those modules :(
I was wondering, even with GPS coordinates of a target my radar still cannot estimate the speed. I find it annoying since I am making a system that relies on accurate speed measurement
@@se-ssi My pea brain doesn't know what a delta vector is, but yes I know how to average past values. Each tick a counter goes up, and each time it goes up, I store a diff value in a diff variable, then i divide all the values
@@se-ssi I would love to, but I don't understand English well, and translators don't help much. 😅 and I kind of solved the problem (I just wrote off the code incorrectly) although the turret still crashes, but less often
Ive never been able to work with missles so im gonna attempt to use your missles for a smart automatic defense system. That will decide weather to shoot down targets depending on if its coming toward your its distance toward you and angle from you. And depending on the amount of other tsrgets in the area weather to shoot one or two missles towards a target
Very good. But one problem (I'm about a V2 and a bigger rocket) they are easy to shoot down, I don't know myself if I can advise you max to do. These are maneuvers, when the missile does not reach the target, but has a missile on the radar, then it begins maneuvers to evade the enemy, and when there are about 500 seconds left, it is aimed at the target. Maybe you can correct me if I'm wrong
@@se-ssi If you do: "after launch, the rocket took off vertically, then it stabilizes with a booster or wings, and after a couple of seconds (some 2-4 seconds) the GPS control is turned on"?
15:04 do I connect the composite input directly to the radar on the corner? Because you never made it clear and I am so confused on where you link composites
@@se-ssi I fixed a confusing problem, I paused the video at 10:39 because of a fix I made. I decided to output the "yawAngle" and "pitchAngle" to my pivots and it saved my life, it can now track things, what I will do is I will work out a solution for radar leading and test it out
Why when I look for stormworks tutorial I get frantic with his tutorials that require you to assemble then reassemble half way through the tutorial. RU-vid terrible recommendations!!
Imagine if it could transport a small boat lols and for servers that allow this + weapons + a decent pc you could be a logistics carrier for any shootouts
