Skate fish is an extremely good eating fish. You eat the wings of the skate, there’s no bones and has a similar taste to lobster while maintaining the texture of a soft white fish. It’s great, trust me it’s an Italian delicacy

Exactly why I never use treble hooks anymore. I just use bucktails and diamond jigs. Single hook and no issues. Treble hooks are as useless as a rubber beak on a woodpecker.
