I got mine 15 years ago and I still wear them. I don't know if the quality of the new ones has changed compared to mine, but I would still consider getting another pair. I've only had to replace the earpads a few times...
I agree 100% I had the 12.9 for the better screen but after a day or so didn’t really make a whole Lotta difference but the weight sure did. It was like marrying the wrong bride. You didn’t realize it till you carried her in the house. 💃👈👀
I'm a bit late, but apple's gesture api is proprietary and can't be licensed. Apple's ecosystem is built to lock the user in, whether it makes sense or not. They want your money, and it looks like you're going to give it to them.
Magic mouse is absolute garbage. To thin and very uncomfortable to use. Looks like a cheap Fisher Price toy. Charge port on the bottle is rediculus can't use while charging. The mouse is just poor engineering.
The video title is just a bad choice. I've been using a magic mouse for years, no problem with ergonomics whatsoever, but you should use it with a pad, not with bare hands as you do in the video! The "ergonomic" mouse that you are showing would force me to raise my wrist each time as I am moving from the keyboard, which would not be very ergonomic. Also having to use a scroll wheel (and another finger than the one I use for tapping) is a no go. Having the touchpad included in the mouse is a must for me. Horizontal scrolling on a separate wheel? No thank you. And why not use a trackpad and magic mouse together, to benefit from both? And regarding the position of the charging port, everyone complaining about that should read the article "The Apple Magic Mouse design is intentional and brilliant". I understand Apple has disappointed their customers many times in the past, but come on they are not that stupid. Some basic research should be done before posting such video reviews online.
Magic mouse: you are not going to have any wrist issues as long as you use a pad. I've been using it for years, no problems whatsoever. The placement of the charger is done with purpose, to avoid cables, and the design purpose is largely misunderstood: Apple doesn't want to suggest people that they should use cables. It only take a few minutes to charge and it lasts for weeks, so it's not a problem at all. It's not like charging your phone, something that needs to be done regularly.
If they would make a trackpad with built in touch-id it would be an instant buy for me. The fact that you have to use an Apple keyboard to get touch-id is nuts to me.
A bit better than the infamous hockey puck - the worlds worst mouse ever built. This mouse is just so bad i would quit my job if forced to use it all day.
As a mature student at nursing school the Apple Watch with cellular data is brilliant - I can go to the library with just my watch and laptop and focus on my studies. I was able to complete an essay which got 85% in 14 hours across a number of weeks. I would achieve what I planned to do in half the time I'd I allotted to it.
Thanks, watched this and realized I am totally engrossed in electronics. Not my goal! You bring up great points and back it up with data and let’s face it, you’re right! While a good tool, it has to be used properly!
The boom arm is absolutely terrible. I have it, and even though i have tightened the friction plates and loosened the screw on the bottom, it still goes up.
I use my Garmin to tell time and track exercise. That’s it. Notifications are off. There are many things that distract me, but the watch isn’t one of them. My recommendation is to be deliberate about what notifications you’re willing to receive on your phone and even more so on your watch.
This is because you are phone addicted. I use my smartwatch for miles/steps, heart health and sleep. Notifications incoming messages are turned off. Use your watch for those . Use your phone for communicating. If anything throw your phone away and keep the watch.
I think people that complain about ergonomics are weak. Grab a damn hand weight and do your health a favour rather than complaining about a mouse’ ergonomics. Do you see people complaining about our chairs? “Yeah this chair is comfy but it makes me slouch therefore it sucks” No, that’s your ptoblem
