It is balanced around its drawbacks. While yes eating a 50- 70 burger is devastating, and it obviously leads to oki/situation, you don’t have a kameo for the next 60+seconds.. even if you use him to cash out to end the round you could still lose the next round without ever getting a chance to use goros full bar ambush like that again. Either way great video!
@@l750z_6 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZC0D2GE0cac.html Let me know if you want more optimal stuff this is just from 10 minutes of messing around
Look at that kameo regen tho... two khameleon combos equal one of these, but you get to use khameleon over n over. Goro will be all or nothing and no kameo for the rest of the round. Broken? Idk
man if sub even pulling a 50% no fatal combo you know that assist is crazy. they nerfed reiko for like a 65% all resource combo so idk if this stays more than a few weeks lol
Yo I trying and I struggling got any tips? I struggle on chaining the second 1 because I can do the slide and aim and jump but then when a sprint I always crouch or I just can’t chain the second one casual I don’t know what to press
@@Cartoonedits-cn6lx the sprint timing is the hardest part, if you press sprint but you're still holding aim you will land in crouch so make you let go of aim completely before pressing sprint while in the air As for continuing the chain it goes likes this Sprint - Slide - Jump + Aim - Sprint (after letting go of aim while you are still in the air) - Hold Slide (just before landing) - then after you land you repeat from the Jump + Aim step. At first just focus on remembering the buttons and the order and eventually when you have the muscle memory built up you can start chaining it all together very nicely. A good starting point to focus on is making sure you can land in slide consistently and the is what makes you build speed.
A buddy and me have done a couple of co-op runs of this game, the movement is fun but the late game fights while being under level are kinda rough (for some reason doing just the main quests makes you one shot in the second half of the game) so we haven't done many runs. I haven't done any solo runs and don't plan to, I'll leave that to the better gamers
@@Death-_-machine That's awesome, the movement is crazy fun and it's not a very long run. Good luck with the grind! Make sure to go to the speedrun.com page and join the dead island discord if you can, a bunch of runners are there and can help you out with a bunch of things if you need.
@niceguydom5460 thanks so much and this game is definitely hard towards the end but I will ask some questions towards other runners thx so much for your help as well
I know this was uploaded a year ago but I just got the game like 5 weeks ago and this brings so much fun to the game and helps me speedrun other characters so I can beat the game in like 3 hours so thanks for the guide it’s really easy to do once you get the hang of it
Yeah so what you can do is after you input bf3 you can actually input the dash cancel very early and if you don't press anything Ermac will dash as soon as he can. Just practice pressing the dash early without the jump to see the timing, then just practice timing the jump and after you feel that your getting the jump consisteny start adding the string. So what I do is bf3, then double tap forward pretty early, then a little bit after the bf3 hits them I will input jump 122. As a tip if you don't jump at all it means you pressed jump too early because if you press jump before Ermac dashes the dash won't come out. If this doesn't make sense I will do a short video for you. It won't take long to upload.
You can buffer dash during bf3. Press bf3ff, without pauses, and keep holding f. Right when the animation of bf3 ends, press diagonally Forward and Up, without releasing Forward. That should help.
Yeah he is a very different fighter than he has been in previous games but if you just play you get used to it eventually. I wasn't using his cancel stuff in games for a bit but you just find ways to slowly add it to your game the more you play

@niceguydom5460 that makes sense. I knew about inputting the dash early but didn't know why I couldn't get the jump out. I'll try what you suggested thanks man! Not relevant but nice name. I have the same one 😁
@@NerdLegionInc Well nice name to you as well 😂 Hopefully this helps, try to play Ermac as much as you can because I feel like he has nerfs coming his way like Peacemaker and Raiden
@@niceguydom5460 sektor is cool he has a launcher and you can do like 12 or b21 then launch the opponent stuff like that he also has rockets I'd love to see if you find something cool with him
Call Cyrax as Ermac starts lifting them off the floor. Don't press it as he slams them into the floor, press it just as he if lifting them up. That's the timing I found the most consistency with. Cyrax is a weird kameo to use though so it might take you a little bit to get a feel for the right timing.
At 1:26 btw, if you dash up and do stand 4 into bf2 instead, jax wont be interrupted and you can keep it going by repeating the stand 4 into bf2 and get more.
@@niceguydom5460 I was actually watching your vid for a while and slowing it down so I can see where to optimize a couple combos of yours but I definitely give you your props, great combos. If you wanna know where to upgrade from w these combos I might release a video but also just ask. I get pretty in depth with my labbing
