the problem with spotters is, HMP allows drinking in the pits and there are times when some spotters have been drinking too much and cant do their job properly, then want to fight up in the tower over an on track incident , seen it many times , the 45 HMP stock car will not race at HMP if mandatory spotters are required during HMP races, the only race that is worth running to us is the Lonestar 600 200-300 laps and it dont matter how fast you are if your not there for the checkered flag, i dont see how catching and passing lapped cars is a problem , its part of racing , PASSING CARS IS PART OF RACING , LAPPED OR NOT

Andrew Thornton is more knowledgeable about racing than most people pretend to be. I have been lucky to have him in the booth at How to Suck at IRacing announcing races, and I am glad to call him a friend
I used to race at thunderhill in Kyle I'm originally from Indiana I can't believe there's only one pavement track left in the whole state of Texas. There's tracks in Indiana it's been around for 50 to 100 years.
