The grilled fish (except the salmon) were all very good, the pastas and pulled pork were some of our favorites. Lobster night was awesome (you could order more than 1 plate), and all of the desserts were delicious. I tried every dessert.
I'm sorry to say I don't remember, but the prices were cheaper than if you booked specialty dining prior to the cruise. My brother in law had booked one specialty dining in advance (the steakhouse) and when he saw the special offer on the first day of cruising he canceled his original booking and rebooked it at the new promotional price. Reuben and I did not book any special dining and were fairly pleased with the food in the main dining room.
@@RnRquicktrips Thank you ❤️🤩 Yes, i'm feeling very lucky and blessed indeed. Fun fact: the train ride you made from Flåm to Myrdal? Flåmsbanen, my grandfather were one of the builders of that railway stretch. He even got a medal from the king of Norway at the time for it🤩 He told me that they dug and built it mostly by hand..it was too steep for most machinery to work with .. 1 month = 1 metre railway 🤩
I flew Norse from Miami to London, and Oslo back to Miami. The seats were comfortable, and the entertainment was decent. You definitely don’t want the meals. They charge $30 for disgusting microwave meals that were very small, and could likely have been bought in a dollar store. I use to advise using foreign carriers for better food. Not anymore. Bring your own food. Otherwise, not bad for a budget airline.
Agreed! We were thrilled to get to Oslo for a low price, but we brought our own food. There were several passengers onboard grumbling about the cost and taste of the meal served.
There are s total of 5 circuits. The tickets we bought allowed us to use circuit 1 or 2, we chose to do circuit 2 which is the "classic" route that allows you to go along the upper and lower paths inside Macchu Picchu.
Hi, great video. How about safety? I booked a flight as it offered a good conenction flight to Peru. So I need to spend there 1 day. If I go to tourist area directly from airport (with airport taxi) and go to a safe hotel and only spend time in touristic area, will I be safe?
Yes, that's what we did. We stayed at a lovely Marriott (that had security out front), and spent most of our time on the Malecon near the ferris wheel, which is a popular tourist area that is quite safe. We recommend not having any expensive cameras or accessaries out in public. Enjoy!
This is great! About to do every itinerary in this video. By the way, which side is ideal to be for views on that train ride from Oslo? Also, what time did you two do the zipline? Trying to also avoid the huge crowd.
We sat on the left side, which may have slightly better views, but both sides are great! We did the early afternoon zipline, I think it was around noon or 1pm.
My parents have had this time share for over 20yrs. We have USED it a TON ober the years. Was just there a few weeks ago. We have family that lives there so we just stay there but explore ALLLLL of Vegas.
About 20 minutes. Highly recommend it, the walk is beautiful. If you can't walk it, there is a little tram that looks like a mini train you can take there and back.
Norse is one of my favorite airlines! The seats are comfortable, the planes are new, the legroom is the same as any other airline (including legacy carriers). The only difference is you don't get a meal, but I'm happy to pay $20 onboard if it means I save $400 (!) compared to other carriers who offer 'free' meals.
I’m going with my husband and 5 yr old. I’m just now realizing it’s a level 4 of do not visit. What was your overall feeling of safety? I’m considering cancelling if there’s any risk.
We felt perfectly safe when we were there. We also just went to Mazatlan in late May and felt the same way. There are many tourists in Mazatlan right now and if you stick to the tourist areas you will be safest.
Fantastic! Just about every other video I have watched has an itinerary that aims to push through and get those miles DONE!! There is so much alternative food for thought here. I love that you took your time, planned it out (because none of this happened by accident!) and mainly avoided the crowds. I hate the thought of travelling all day as with NIAN and loved your presentation of Flam as a credible place to stay. Thanks very much.
Probably...you would have to set up the presentation to get the free with $99 deposit package, then skip the presentation and be charged. If you do this, book the presentation for the end of your trip so that they don't hound you when you skip out.
Hi! Never been brave enough to take VivaAerobus, looks like you had a nice experience! Curious why you chose to go through Tijuana instead of the CBX service? Happy travels!
We’re here now and for the last couple of days. We have not had a very good experience here with house keeping. Beware. We’ve set up three times now for service. (4 times now. I’ve been waiting over 6 hours now.) Haven’t seen anyone yet and it’s almost 6pm. They keep promising but have done nothing. We’re about ready to cut our trip short. They do have excellent pizza and meatball sandwiches. Lazy river is kinda kool especially with kids. Lots of kid stuff to do.
Me and my wife are trying to do this and go Tahiti Village right now. If you’re going to cut your trip short, perhaps we could take your room/place instead. We don’t mind cleaning up after ourselves.
@@HighValueMaxedOutGigaSigmaMale , we’re thinking about it. Very frustrating experience. You will have to put the rooms in your name. My first thought is no. I can’t be responsible for any charges or damage you might do. I have no idea who you are. Kind of a weird thing to ask someone you don’t even know.
What a brilliant video. Thank you for showing us Flam. We will be there in August for one day on a Norwegian cruise. Had hoped to take the Flam railway but the tickets have sold out. You have given me the idea to take a taxi ride to the view point instead.
Thank you! Bummer about the Flam tickets, but the viewpoint is awesome and won't take that long. If you have time, walk to the old town of Flam - it's so beautiful and charming. Try the cinnamon rolls at the Flam bakery, so good! Have a great cruise!
I was on my first cruise in April, Icon of the Sea. Everyone told me I shouldn’t have booked that one first since nothing can compare. I’ll be on Navigator very soon, we shall see. It still looks like a great ship, thank you for sharing this content.
