der up erreicht seine VMax auf ebener Strecke nur im 4-ten Gang bei 6200 Umdrehungen. das 5-Gang Getriebe ist sehr lang übersetzt und passt gar nicht zu diesem Motor. ein Opel Calibra V6 hatte eine ähnliche Übersetzung, aber der hatte dafür auch genug Power. Man sieht im Video herrlich, wie die Geschwindigkeit sofort rapide abfällt als bei Tacho 180 km/h vom vierten in den fünften geschalten wird.
Im vierten Gang so wie du es schreibst, macht er seine Arbeit, immer im Roten Bereich, ich bin aber im 5ten Gang 200 gefahren, wobei das GPS genau 190 anzeigt, es war wohl sein Tag, 180 laut Tacho ist eigentlich immer drin ... das Auto ist sonst perfekt.... leider geht er aber bei diesen Geschwindigkeiten auf 9 Liter Verbrauch, das liegt auch dann am kleinen Motor und eben bei den hohen Drehzahlen ....
piece of shit n52 too slow for me and doesn't leak oil and its reliable almost like its not a bmw engine at least the awesome slow/laggy shifting trans blows every 300k
Did a few pulls against one of these in my -04 V70 T5 (320bhp) and was chocked by how slow it was. The golf didn't keep up at all. Good looking car tho..
This is still in 5th gear I rev it out and change to 6th gear and it will go off the clock way past 260, by changing gear you take abit of heat out of it. My car is standard 258bhp I would say iv clocked over 170 mph . It wasn’t verified, it’s only supposed to go 155mph here in the uk. I also have 19” alloys from the original which where 17” I think, so that would increase top speed. There is actually a video of someone going around 174mph / 280kph
