For me personally, I work as a freelance artist in the motion design industry, creating really high-end map animations and edits like House of History, Vox, Caspian report, and operations room. I've prepared for civils and haven't just pinned all my hopes on it because, as it's discussed, the success rate fares down to maximum of .1 to .2 percent. Nonetheless, the preparation really helped me to know what's going on around the world, eventually helping me to make edits that help me to stand out amongst the crowd. Also, I'm in my late 20s, and I believe it firmly that your age doesn't matter in these fields, but your commitment towards it does you've to be the best and client communication is the key for it rest shall take care of itself and you've to constantly upgrade your skills to be relevant in the market I myself have been going through c4d classes rn and when I'm done with it I'll start learning houdini to increase my work flow. Preparation for cse helped in my case just in a different way, and I'm compensated fairly well. There are times when clients come up to me and ask me to do their work, and I've to decline it because those days I purely focus on advancing my skills. An artists life is constant upgradation and becoming the best version of yourself.
