My Bloodthirster has the same habit… he sometimes refuses to charge and made me fail the charge roll (even with reroll strat!) i was thinking in give him some shelf time but it seems he needs a’rgath and another chance to shine!
Yea mine has been severely punished and after being a staple in my lists for a while, was shelved since around September last year 😅 He cane out for one event this year and was OK but I'm thinking he may deserve another chance now in pariah 🤣
Dude did you even playtest fateweaver with the new lord of deceit ? playing him aggressively denying so many stratagems in my games. It is crazy good. Really good at denying grenades/tank shock/armor of contempt/heroic intervention, but that is just me
Hey mate, I haven't had the chance to playtest him in pariah yet, and while yea I agree Lord of deceit definitely has it's plays, as I do briefly go into when talking about him, that means he is very much in the cross hairs of your opponents and will get womped hard by good opponents wanting to get rid of the aura. Like I said I don't think any of the GD are bad at all, personally just believe Fatey falls at the bottom of the list right now.
Great video, as always, keep them coming. If you have some time to work on your setup - look into your audio. It seems like your noice cancelling software triggers some false positives, and it’s hard to understand you at times. An example would be a segment around 21:49

27:31 in the tournament companion document they adressed this oval bases issue, all non-round bases has the 2” pivot value, so most of the events will use this
When Skullcanons shoot any your opponent is near a greator deamon , they dont have -1 on leadership i think becase greator deamons 6inch aura only affect your own units. Correct if im wrong.
The Greater Daemons also hand out the -1 to battleshock and d3 mortals when failed. Both through their shadow bubble and also since it specifically says when an enemy unit is within 6" of a greater Daemon in the daemonic terror rule now.
in the phariah nexus tournament companion you have this rule: Models that are not on a round base (excluding Aircraft models) have a pivot value of 2", unless otherwise stated. so you you still pay for pivot on anything that has oval bases
how do you deal with opening transports and kill the unit inside? I feel like daemons shooting is so lackluster even with LOC with everstave it is super unreliable to open an impulsor. Sure I can put 2 melee units into one impulsor and hope that one open it up and then pile in with the other one. But I often feel the points committed to that is much more than what the transport and the unit is inside. So it often ends up not being worth it.
So I know cover this in my bloodcrusher tactics vid so check that out! But yes it is definitely a problem for us. The LoC can pop transports, sometimes you need to utilise the ranged from multiple big guys and Soul Grinders can definitely do some work.
I had game against Votann and used Syll'Esske / daemonettes combo against their infantry. I hit 29 times with daemonettes, and then rolled only 5 dev wounds 😂 it was sooo sad :D Syll'Esske didn't do much better. It was just pure bad luck but they Slaanesh is really overcosted. Did You consider simple list with Shalaxi and 3x KoS?
Got 3 bloodcrushers from the combat patrol, and just bought 3 new secondhand bloodcrusher, waiting for it to arrive. Can’t wait to implement these tactics in my games! Love your daemonic content :) Only thing is that when I am listening on my sound system your intro/outro is very loud, but your voice is low. So when the outro comes after I have cranked up the volume to listen to you, its close to giving me a heartattack each time 😂

Glad you enjoyed it. My last event last week I ran a Nurgle list. Going into Pariah until we see points my go to units will be plaguebearers, Rotigus, gift GUO and Belly. Also liking Flamers and doggos. Wanna see Blue Horrors go down in points.

You're opponent must remove the model that was wounded first, and since your opponents unit did not make a charge move in that turn nor are they currently within engagement range of an enemy unit, they are not eligible to activate in the fight phase. Just because the bloodcrusher unit charge them, doesn't make them eligible to activate.
I have skarbrand, i was going to run bloodletters and skulltaker along side him and the buffing unit. Is it worth me taking 6 crushers instead of the bloodletter and skulltaker? I have enough resilience in my list but was just going to use those to try to kill a though enemy unit
bloodletters with skulltaker and ofc the rendmaster buff can easily go character hunting and get you another CP. But yeah I only like that combo and normally it gets deleted right after, so you need to take out more than 200 points to make it worth it
Come on Man! Lets skip past the "codex review" stuff and get to the "Level Up" stuff. Like how do we make Khorne Survivable or How do we make Nurgle do dmg., And i'm not talking about "add a DP with -1 to hit bubble to your list" I mean the tactics. Everyone copies winning lists and it doesn't help them win because they have no idea what to do with it. WE NEED TACTICS! Yup i've chose you as the one to lead us. Ha!

@@TrueDaemonLord I get it, you have to have a base to build on. Most youtube videos talk about the datasheets, combos, strats etc but all in a Vacuum. You and I both know people copy winning lists all the time and then get destroyed because they have no idea what to do with the list. I''m suggesting a video series on the how to. Examples like: "Rapid Ingress" and "Denizens of the Warp" to block a charge or positioning Hounds behind a wall to free Heroic and showing people how to do it vs just talk about it. I'm 100% supportive of your channel

One rather large element that didn’t come up in your video is that three of our six stratagems are battle tactics… IIRC, we don’t have a single instance of “make stratagem cost less” and thusly cannot benefit from them being battle tactics, whereas we’re extremely susceptible to having our battle tactics’ costs increased by our opponent. Especially with your #1 pick - having that cost increase is extremely detrimental to our gameplan. Honestly it’s really annoying and I hope they change it at some point.
I wanted to focus on the positives rather than potential negatives of a vect ability. Get Realm Vected hurts but that's when you have to play around it. Either waiting until the source of it dies or reserving your CP and using the ability at the right time. Unfortunately I've struggled in games thanks to this issue but as of right now, it is one of those things. Doesn't change the fact though Realm of Chaos is an amazing strat.
