Wow Ben!! This interview was so touching!! Amanda, Daniel, and all the volunteers, You guys are amazing! Your unwavering dedication to feeding those in need is nothing short of remarkable. Every meal you serve is not just food on a plate; it is a symbol of hope, compassion, and community. Your kindness nourishes not only the bodies but also the hearts and souls of those you help. Thank you for your tireless efforts and for making a profound difference in so many lives.
Great interview !!!! Rino really love Lis work and that is great. I'm new in Deliver That, someone know if it works in Boca Raton ? I open the App early in the morning for 3 days in a row, and 0 Jobs and 0 Offers , I would really appreciate your comment and help in this matter. Thank you
Don’t see the big deal. I get those deliveries everyday. Even Had an ICU delivery at 9:00pm. Have you ever tried to get into an ICU at 9:00pm when the staff doesn’t know a catering order is being delivered. Just another day
I'm taking it...CAUSE WE WILL FIGURE OUT THE CORRECT PERSON TO DELIVER TO... between ME and DELIVERTHAT communication.... THE JOB IS ALREADY DONE.... if it comes to my phone.
I would call and find out if I could park at the main entrance. If so, then yes. If I had to park in a parking structure or double park in the middle of a busy, downtown street, then no.
I'm a new driver but I have yet to receive a single offer... been almost a month! I almost regret signing up for this app but I'm not going to get any offers at all! Ridiculous
I never see anyone else in my areas that uses food delivery bags, the only time I see any bags is deliver that drivers. I think people should refuse orders from delivery people who don't use thermal bags. It's just lazy and inconsiderate.
Certainly depends on the packaging from the store sometimes not being able to fit in the bag, but we appreciate your effort and attention to detail! People want that food though, can you imagine sending it back??
I bring my bags into every spot I pick up. I find the majority is now using boxes. The other day, I asked if I could transfer from the box to my thermal and she said ‘we’re not allowed, if you want to do that, take it out in your car and do what you want’. I was like ‘oohhkayy’
Hell no! My expectations of customer service anywhere are what they’ve always been, do your job, do it well & appreciate tips, never expect them! I’ve been a bartender for 7.5 years, & a waitress, as well as living by these work ethics myself.
I would love for the app to allow us to outline our own delivery acceptance zones! I hate having to drive just to wait for an offer to drop in the next zone over. I’m very much willing to accept offers further away but I need to get them first 😅
DeliverThat has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. If you have a question or complaint be prepared to wait a week or more. And expect to play ping pong with the agent who’s replying to your email. I joined expecting that it would take time to get deliveries and then after a certain point you can take another test to have access to deliveries early and pick and chose, but that’s a lie. Here’s how the conversation played out over a couple weeks mind you. Me: Can I take the test that’s available after 20 deliveries? I’ve completed 21 Agent: As a same day driver, you are not eligible for preferred driver status. preferred drivers see deliveries sooner. Same day drivers specialize in deliveries with a shorter lead time so seeing deliveries sooner would not be a help to you. In order to prevent oversaturation and a lack of deliveries for everyone we do not currently allow same day drivers to move to our pre-scheduled team. Me: Then how do you become a preferred driver? That wasn’t an option when I signed up Agent: Currently we do not allow same day drivers to transition to the pre-scheduled team. In order to become a preferred driver, you would first need to be a pre-scheduled catering driver. Me: How do you become a pre-scheduled catering driver? It’s been 3 weeks and zero response
I think you guys have one of the most reliable apps in the gig world, but I'm excited to see what's coming. If you guys want testers on it, I'm happy to help!
Good question! Once you've been on the platform for 6 months and completed 100 deliveries you can be considered for Elite I believe. There are a handful of other policy requirements as well. The tier is by invite only, so dependent on the # of drivers in the tier and the delivery volume in the market, there are certain things out of your control as well
