CHARGEEEEEZ!!! À L'AVANT! À L'AVANT, ALLEZ, ALLEZ, ALLEZ, SOLDAT! ÉCOUTEZ-MOI, SOLDAT: PENSES-TOI QUE VERDUN SE DÉFENDRA SEULE? NOUS NE SOMMES ICI PAS POUR RIEN, MAIS CAR NOUS AVONS UNE PATRIE POUR DÉFENDRE!
The sad part of the actual song, is that it's about the White Friday Avalanche during ww1 in the Italian Alps, there are probably still more corpes of those brave as hell men and boys that remain hidden by the snow, still waiting to be found. If any Italians or those that have Italian heritage, may your ancestors who were lost on White Friday and never found, be found and properly laid to rest. From an American with mostly German heritage. 🇺🇲🫡🇮🇹
Im sad Both Battlefield 1 and V are not played as much these days especially on the grand operation and breakthrough maps because those feel like genuine fronts with intense fighting God some of my favorite memories of both one and V is desprately holding a point against the attackers as the other point in the sector already fell and just being there desprately holding the point with grenades or as medic just desprately working to keep my teamates alive through a barrage of explosions smoke and gas EDIT: my favorite part of V in the same gamemode is working desprately as an engineer to both keep up cover and repair artillery and anti tank emplacements as the fighting goes on only to fall back when getting overrun to call an artillery strike and hold the point just enough to hold the sector and bleed the enemy
Do you think you could possibly do this again but using the most powerful version AND adding the whistle sound as @pkfiremkice1883 requested? I mean this would literally be perfection.
I like this whole Mashup. It's dope af. It really made me remember the intro to BF1 where you play as the Harlem Hellfighters, and it was unlike anything I've ever seen before in a war game story. Very well done, but also very sad and touching, as the Harlem Hellfighters were truly warriors at heart. R.I.P. to the Harlem Hellfighters. 💯💯💯
R.I.P. to the ones that have passed, anyways. I apologize for not stating this before, but I just did some more research. Apparently not all of them died in the war, but sadly, their story still didn't have the happiest end tbh when they came home.
Yes we do. And i'd like to see hear more versions of these songs with this much screaming explosions etc. The other versions of songs similar to like this if you ask me are a bit lack laster incomparison to this...
Honestly I wish I was able to experience this game and it’s multiplayer in its heyday. I only got to play parts of the campaign years after it came out, but I bought it a couple years ago now and absolutely loved the campaign. The way it portrayed its violence was completely different than any of the other COD’s I’ve played. It wasn’t really there for shock value, it was there because real war-especially WW2-was violent, bloody, and without remorse. I only wish I could go back in blind and experience it all over again. Unfortunately I can’t play the multiplayer given the population count, lack of DLC on my part, and that it seems like half the population of the game is running some form of hack or cheat engine…I know it’s a pipedream to hope for a remaster-not a remake-a remaster of this game in all its gory glory.
Not many songs can have the sounds and voices of war added to them. Not many people will listen to a song and think “this would be better with the noise of war mixed in.” You have to be quite a crazy bastard to even dare attempt this. And you, ya crazy bastard, have created a masterpiece. There is nothing that invokes the image of the White Friday more than what you have done, and I commend you for it. Lest we forget, let the tale live on. History shall be doomed to repeat itself if we cease to remember.
Caporetto is behind us, the mountain is in front of us, we are like "the thousand" (the army of Italians who, led by Giuseppe Garibaldi, unified Italy in the 19th century) we will have either victory or death, bayonets ready!!! ready!!! FORWARD SAVOY!!! SAVOIAAAAA (our battle cry was precisely SAVOIA!!! Or AVANTI SAVOIA!!! our royals, in the sense, come on sons of Savoy)
2:43 def the most terrifying part. Reminds me of when you're fighting in the last fort on the last map of operations or when you're fighting in the main big gun on the 1st map or the fort at the end of the 1st map
