Very good information. Thanks for this video. One question is how the overlap by 15 min will work. Currently, I can book slinky at 8 and also book Toy Story maina at the same time. So under this new system, would I have to wait to book you story mania until 8:45?
Ok just off the phone! This cast member said that during pre-booking it cannot overlap more then 20 minutes (so until we book let’s just assume it’s 15 to 20 minutes) but once you get in the park and you tap in for the first time, the overlapping rule goes away completely!! Which is GREAT NEWS!🎉
Thanks so much for following up!! I think 30 min overlaps would be ideal, but 20 should be ok, especially since it only applies to prebooking. My daughter and I are headed to try it out next week. We are set to prebook Friday morning
@@chrisbaker1091I agree! But I was so happy to hear that the rule is only for pre-booking because then if you’re in the area and there’s some that are available to book you can still get on them. I’m actually really excited about this program. I can’t wait to see how it unfold over the next couple of weeks.
@@BlessedFamily4the 12th floor has half of the rooms being renovated and they overbooked. They wanted to give us a theme park view room but it only slept 5. It was their mistake but we took the theme park room for one night then moved to the bigger room on the 5th floor the next day. Which honestly worked better for our family.
We’re taking our daughter on her first Disney trip for her 7th birthday and thinking we may go here for dinner!! I love it all! Is there more than 1 wishmaker ceremony during dinner? I just don’t want to miss it. Haha
you were going to have the best time. They do more than one wish maker ceremony. They’re going to do it about every hour and a half to two hours they will make sure you get to experience it. they also come by and check to make sure you have met all the characters before you leave. I hope she has the best birthday!
I am honestly not kidding when I say I was shocked. I was expecting to come away being like oh this is kind of a letdown, but it was worth it and the food is really good and I really appreciate a kids menu that kids actually will eat!
It did but very minimally - I wanted to include it but ran out of time. In 1941 there was a cartoonist strike that happened which broke Walts's heart. One of the cartoonists crossed the picket line to help finish Dumbo which was released in October 1941. Between dumbo and the war propaganda videos, it helped the studio stay afloat for a little while and it helped get the 3 new movies started but even dumbo only made 1.3 million at the box office and it cost $950k to make. So even with Walt’s success, he was spending so much money to make these movies because he required live models for accuracy. Cinderella Was the cheapest movie he had made at that time because he did not have the funds for live models to act out the scenes.
Thank you for the video! I’ve enjoyed your podcasts and am excited about your being more serious about RU-vid. Just a note, the voice quality when live in the parks is just fine without a microphone…but the voiceovers quality is not great and harder to hear.
Thank you so much for this! This will help me grow and become a better blogger, and I appreciate this information. Did you like that? I did those microphone voiceovers, giving tips. Sometimes bloggers like a straight Vlog, but you know I want to provide information that will help make your trip better. So did you like it or could you have gone without that? And then I need to fix the audio quality on those parts again; thank you.!
I wish I could get that makeover since my favorite Disney Princess would be Mulan…I remembered one time I’ve met her in person at Hollywood Studios when I was 5 years old
