Pls, I've cut my hair three times but it still seems to be growing in an uneven manner. The middle and right side will still be way shorter than the rest. I'm using madiana hair booster right now but I'm yet to see changes, what can be wrong? I've dealt with hormonal imbalance though😢
So sorry about this. Unfortunately, we can't pass any diagnosis from the comment section. You can book a Virtual Trichology Consultation with us here africanaturalistas.com/hairconsult/book-an-appointment/
If it spreads throughout the entire hair that way, it is not normal. However, if hair in some regions of your head are longer that other areas, then that is normal
@@askthetrichologist I have a biracial niece and my Caucasian sister hates oil and won't touch oil! She said, there is a natural oil in her daughter's hair, but it is not as my niece's hair is very very dry! Maybe, if she would put extra oil on the hair and scalp, it would help!
@@abetteryounow6484 Hello. Sorry about the issue you are facing. Her scalp being very dry might be as a result of many things, including the fact that the hair itself is not being moisturised regularly and properly. You can always use Jojoba oil to regulate her sebum, not any other oil, so it doesn't clog the follicles. Please watch the full video here for better context. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Lj5JRHEIrNU.html
Thank you so much for the information on why my nape hair. dont grow what you said made so much sense from now on i will be mind full of all the tips you gave
Every-time i add just a little oil to my scalp it turns into a dermatitis thing... My scalp hates all oil... I just have to carefully apply oil to my hair only!
Hello, I have a question. Is there anyway you can use a blow dryer without damaging your hair?? I like using the REVLON one step styler on low or medium heat never hot and also a blow dry cream. I have fine medium amount of hair.
I have recently experienced both; hairloss and thinning due to a severe and sudden episode of scalp psoriasis which I wasn't aware I had. What to do??😢😢😢
So sorry about this. You can always book a Trichology appointment with us so we can help you out africanaturalistas.com/hairconsult/book-an-appointment/
Hello. I am one of those with a health issue. I have a transplant and take medications through out the day. I also have 4C thick coarse hair armpit length that gets desperately dry most likely because of my medications. Oil put on my scalp gives it the "Ahhhh"moment of drinking water. What oils or grease do you suggest for someone like me?
So sorry about your situation. I'm glad you came out strong. You can use Jojoba oil to regulate your sebum production, and prevent dryness of your scalp.
Hello, what can you do naturally when you have too much testosterone? I am a woman in my early 60s, and my blood work shows I have too much testosterone. I am dealing with hair loss. It has gotten better in the last three months in the crown area because of diet changes and taking D3 and K2. However, the very top and front area you can see my scalp. I went to a dermatologist and trichologist, but they had no answer to this question. I would like to go the natural route to dealing with too much testosterone in my system. Thanks in advance. I look forward to any suggestions. 🙂
Hello. I am so sorry about the issue you are facing. As this is a hormonal issue, it is left for a Endrocrinologists to deal with, and not a trichologist. Some people engage in Hormone Replacement Therapy in situations like this. There are many ways experts treat this
My 10 y.o daughters hair breaks off and is been extremely difficult to consistently grow her hair and also it breaks. It stays extremely dry, rittle, but very dense and thick. It is dry even shortly after I oil, and moisturize it. I believe she has eczema on her scalp. I don't know what to do. Her hair has never been over 4 inches. She's ten now. Please help.
Research ways to use Aryuvedic herbs. I’m not Hindu, so not using them in a spiritual way, but these herbs have strengthening properties that will be very helpful for your daughter’s hair. Might need to get her scalp health checked out by a professional. And observe it more closely yourself. Be gentle and lower the heat. REVAIR is expensive but it helps so much. Want to save up for it myself. You can even pay in installments (but it’s not needed but preferred). A widetoothed wood comb (not static and is better for hair). Finger detanglin as much as you can then use the comb. Aloe Vera gel from the store in one of those gallon containers. If you make it yourself you need to take the extra step of getting the irritants out of it. I’ve heard Brahmi is really good for strengthening hair. So use it with an oil, or use it to wash (which will be hard to get out completely but it’s very effective). AS I AM is Asian owned but SO amazing on my “4c” hair and I religiously use it before blow drying my hair because it helps keep moisture in so it doesn’t dry up before I blow dry. Also a good heat protectant I personally like using castor oil with adequate drops of tea tree oil for my hair when it’s dry and I can’t wash it but before that I put a leave in conditioner. Then deal with the oil. I rub it on my scalp when it itches and it goes away completely in hours. Deep condition EVERY washday. Makes all the difference

@@askthetrichologistwhat happened if the scalp is really dry or have dandruff. What can I do for my daughter's hair loss? She's loosing hair in front of her hair.
It can be many things, including spreading of scarring. It could also be lice. You might not see them sometimes. Are you experience any form of hair loss?

Can you do a detailed video about the difference between dandruf, seborrheic dermatitis and other scalp conditions. I saw a dermatologist and they said dandruff is essentially seborrheic dermatitis and used the terms interchangeably. Luckily in my case, I was able to get my scalp issues under control - for me my scalp was very dry and had dandruff so I had two tackle the two issues individually before I saw a real transformation. Can you please let us know also how to spot a dry scalp?
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Dandruff is not the same as Seborrheic Dermatitis. We'll do a video on this. Glad you were able to get your scalp issues sorted
Hello! I'm sorry you have to deal with this. I'd be happy to help you. please use the link below to book a consultation and we can take it from there. africanaturalistas.com/hairconsult/
Aloe vera damaged my scalp also and since then I have not been able to grow my hair back again as it was for years now. Please what can I do to get my full hair back? Thank you.
Thank you for your question. It's really hard to say based on your statement alone. I would really need to see what kind of damage occurred and if that damage can be repaired. I would suggest seeing a trichologist to get a good look at what we are dealing with. Here's the link to my hair clinic. africanaturalistas.com/hairconsult/book-an-appointment/ I hope to hear from you soon.
