Just done my first bike pack from Dover to Amsterdam and back via Hoek van Holland to Harwich. Loving your adventure, I wish I'd had the nous to do it when I was your age!
I love these videos, really want to get going myself now. If you're going all the way up to North Holland and maybe going over the 'afsluitdijk' I would recommend you go through the nature reserve that's between 'Wijk aan Zee' and 'Camperduin' It's a strip of nature along the coast, it's incredibly beautiful in my opinion, but it might be a bit out of your way.
@@monstergoose glad to hear you’re liking the videos. You’ve definitely got to get yourself on a bike, it’s one of the best things I’ve done. Unfortunately I won’t be heading in that direction but I’ll bare it in mind for future travels. Thanks for the suggestion 😁
Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…
Loving this vlog, be interested in how your editing. Discovered while trying plan small bike pack in Wales, to just head off to Europe is epic... good luck in your journey physically and mentally
Mate you’re smashing it! That negative voice isn’t you, it’s the voice that stops you from trying something new, talking to that stranger or getting some good exercise. You can’t hide from these thoughts but you can choose whether or not to engage with them. You are not a collection of your thoughts. You are the watcher of your thoughts. Cheering for you mate 💪
Sounds like you need to meet some people along the way. Those bonds and random, unplanned experiences you have with random people along the way are some of the most memorable parts of traveling alone. Believe me, I've done it!
Totally disagree, there are videos that drag on forever at the end of the day we just need a basic idea you can pause and make a list if you feel so inclined. The intro is typically POV modern style, I understand aesthetic trends change over time and the new styles may not suit you but it is the common vlogging practice of the last 5-10 years. Lighting is fine and sound is crisp idk why you'd complain. Try filming anything yourself and without professional/advanced training it will look worse than this I'm sure. Kids trying and thats way more than most folks and hes not doing a bad job
why not just wild camp? much easier. futzing around with the smartphone isn't the way to finish the day. just look for good spots 1-2 hours before sunset, maybe backtrack 4-5 kilometres if needed
It's easier to ask forgiveness than permission... I say go wherever you want to, that's half the fun of it waking up on the side of a mountain, near a creek, or in a cattle field... just sayin
How long does it take for them to review the video I have 1 million views and want to put the video to friends only so I did and it said video disqualified because it hasn't past the review so had to put it back to everyone and it said it been put back in the program. The video has been on 6 days now
