Yep, Glaive is just a better version of ice scythe in every way. I was thinking of making a class tier list in my opinion, but rumor has it Soul Weaver rework is coming soonish (probably by the end of the year maybe sooner) and the new class Flesh Weaver might follow, so I was waiting until those come out. In the mean time the endgame wiki has a great tier list for the inn side of things, with the only changes I would make is Ranger and UWE to S, Paladin and DK to S-, and Pirate to A+ (I don't have much experience on anything below A so I can't redo those)
Man you are the absolute GOAT for doing shit like this LMAO, this could not have been an easy clear judging from the duration. You're the reason I started playing Pirate and got much better at the game :) I wouldn't have picked this class up if not for you doing funny shit with it, and now it's my favorite class. Thanks for enlightening me :gigachad:
The clear itself isn't hard, Pirate doesn't have any +health in its kit and I didn't feel like getting an Amalgam/HMD/Creatioux/whatever the other item is stack so it takes longer to deal with the potions
No it was bugged clearly. if you look at the end the rune for creatioux doesn't show up as enraged so one would assume that it wouldn't be the enraged attack. One would assume that they could tank the attack and then kill next turn. So clearly if this was a defeat it would be because the fight is bugged, and not the fault of the player
Ranger is defo a better multi class than KAA. They both have ~9 CD on their multi target nukes (I'm gonna keep it at 9 because two uses of Sky Assault should be as good as a Kathool innit) but Ranger can also keep up sustained multi target damage with its other multi so it should exceed KAA in the long run no?
There are a lot of great content creators out there for this game that are very passionate and are doing insane things in the game. We are a small but mighty community.
Despite your list being based on inn, the mana regens are simply awesome when farming long dungeons with a multi hit like C7/DM cannon One more racial thay comes to mind is the light of destiny - while 30 bonus is mid, extra 20 crit is nothing to sneeze at. There's also the bug killer ones from ravenloss; think it's extra 20%. Wish we would get a racial beast one though...
I only mentioned the racial ones that appear in the inn. I personally have not run out of mana even when questing, so I don't carry mana specials. If I was that desperate for mana, I would use the mana back on auto with fumes or scales to not take damage while regening mana, or use a class that doesn't run out of mana like WDL or Techno.
I really have no clue how to rank Glimmer. Damage on demands are so often anti synergistic to class mechanics, so only half the classes can use it. I feel of those classes that can use it, the average skill is better than doing Glimmer. Maybe I'm wrong because I haven't tested it, but the 10 turn CD seems too long to be a main special, especially when it barely does more than pushing another button.
This video is really well-made :) I think you explain your points really well. Here's my personal take on some of the niche-ish specials: After playing around with some of the niche specials I'd say that Opal is one of the better ones, but Morganite with an MPM build isn't to be scoffed at - if it helps you patch up your lackluster MPM shield, it's going to be better than any other special. Sapphirine is also very good if consistent recovery is needed. That being said, this debate is only for classes that are not up to the meta standard and aren't too worth considering for serious play, so it's really just a pet peeve. Doom Blade of Sorrows is great against bosses that apply -END debuffs when you would be using a healing special. This is pretty much just for Keelhaul, since with the other ones (Master Twang and Chaos Slayer Berserker) the END debuff is rather inconsequential since you would typically be ignoring or avoiding it. Pyrope is good with classes that have decent damage modifiers (+Boost% or -All) but fairly lackluster damage to abuse it with, such as Chronomancer. That being said, not useful at all with meta classes since you would get more mileage out of Glimmerwing or Cysero's Hammer on the on-demand side (as these skills are already largely used as fillers) or Glaive of Peace/Lucky Hammer. Ancient Frost Moglin is a funny one - the debuff is very long so it can be used much earlier than needed before swapping to Creatioux or a damage special. Still very few use cases though. Glimmerwing is one of my personal favorites though - it's usually better than most class fillers unless you are using Technomancer or something. Ninja or other classes with a high flop time and a lack of utility skills can make use of a filler nuke at lower HP%.
Yeah I discounted Morganite because every time I wanted MPM or a blind for some meme dodge combo it's CD is too long, but I can see how it can be good. I didn't talk about Doomblade of sorrows a lot, but -boost also sucks because when a boss gains boost (which they almost always do for huge nukes you want to reduce) -boost becomes less effective % wise. It also has a terrible proc rate and duration. Pyrope is Cope Glimmerwing I have no idea about. The 10 turn CD is a big minus for me and I don't think a 300% crit is that much better than a regular class skill that it's worth not slotting something else. Maybe I will try it out, but I'm not excited about it.
Jaania.. my honey, my pookie bear. I have loved her ever since I first laid eyes on her. The way she kills and locks up innocent people and creatures, and strike fear into her enemies eyes. Her silky smooth touch with ice, and that Beautiful blue hair. I would do anything for her. I wish instead of freezing all of Lore she froze time and we could be together forever <3
Classic 65 all res Exalted Apotheosis, Wings of the Thousand Flames, Eulins Charm, Grimoire of the Lich, Ancient Dragon Lords Helm, Parallel Chaos amulet, Hondas Legacy EX, Legion Bracer I also used a DEX stack and a Healing res stack
With MPM stacking you just go max MPM and dodge everything without the chance of randomly taking 1000 damage, and BPD was looked at as the worse in everyway cousin. But since BPD's main flaw is mostly fixed with all res and the new -crit special, it's in a really good spot. I think for all the time that BPD was bad, some of the shields were buffed with high uptime to compensate, and now with the addition of these new items they're really good. Try it out!
This build is really good for defensive classes where you can on average save a lot of HP vs the standard All res builds. Epochs will generally not see a ton of use from this build but it's something cool to have in your back pocket if you're looking to play a little more defensively.
Yeah I noticed it at first when I was using it with Pirate to amp my Blind and the other non blinded guy was just straight up missing. From there I knew there had to be something to this build so I started Calcing and it's pretty damn good.
