I've just learned how to crochet and amigurumi. If I want the base amigurumi larger than 6SC ( I want 8 SC), should I add some extra rows? . (excuse me for my poor english)

Thank you for this tutorial, it took two tries but I got the ball done! For those who ended up inside out, I did on my first try as well which seemed to be one of my issues (that and not properly counting stitches as I went!) I figured out during my second try that after doing rows 6 and 7, the ball started to curl up (maybe due to my tension) the opposite way of what it should have. If you notice, she keeps the circle quite flat in rows 1-5, then when she does 6-7 and the sides come up, she’s got it so the tail is flipped inside of the ball. I ended up having to kind of turn my ball inside out to achieve this. I saw other comments struggling with this and it helped me!
This is a goldmine of a video. I'm new to amigurumi and I'm so thankful for four whole different side by side comparisons and step by steps. I think I'm going to try changing my method of using my tension hand to maneuver the yarn instead of turning my hook to grab it. Gonna share this with my friends. Thank you so much. Hopefully these changes will reduce the likelihood of straining my arms and hands too ❤
This is such a well done tutorial and it was really easy to follow! 10/10 thank u! There was some error on my part when I somehow managed to get turned around so I was stitching from the backside of the sphere which made decreasing very difficult lol but it was definitely my fault

this is the most far clearest video on yt to show different stitches! Thanks for sharing! Do you recommend cotton yarn for beginners? I have tried with velvety chenille and it is so messy. I am still struggling lol
From what I picked up, it's literally the first stitch of the 6 you made before. Since it's a circle your current stitch should somewhat align with the very first one you made

I was in the middle of making this one for my whippet, since the winter is coming, but then we had to suddenly put him down, and now I'm left with a half-made dog snood. I think I'll frog it and make another one for my two shelties (half smaller dogs) Great tutorial!
