Hi, can you let me know how your van copes with towing your boat please, I have a ford custom SWB and want to get the same boat a Warrior 165, nice session/video and boat by the way, thank you.
No problems at all towing the van with the transit. Done North Wales to Oban, Scotland on my own without missing a beat. Launched on some very steep slipways and never had any trouble. Go for it! 🚐 🛥️ 💨
Hi how are you getting on with your warrior 165? I was thinking of getting a descent used one (hard to come by), would you recommend one mainly for pembrokeshire, thank you
I absolutely love mine, been such a great buy! Opened up a whole new world to me and I’m so happy I took the plunge. As my first boat I can’t compare it to anything else available though. But so far for me it’s ideal for my needs. Easy to tow and solo launch, great in the weather I generally fish in, cracking fishing platform. Can’t fault it to be honest. Good luck in your hunt for one 🛥️
I remember collecting sea angler magazines in the 90s and monkfish were relatively common... till they wernt and then went through a rebadge 🍽 mainly for restaurants 😂
Thanks mate. Somehow managed to delete all the footage of the last trip shot on the new cam, so unfortunately no upload this week 😞 On holiday in Mallorca this week and so far caught sod all so maybe none next week either 😂😂
Another great vid mark, it’s nice when you get the big pollock but catching many of those wee pollock is great fun and keep you busy😁🎣keep up the good work mate top man👌🎣🎣
I wish I’d have seen the footage while we were out, definitely would have put the squid jigs down. I can’t seem to get the Westin to connect to my phone to view the videos on the boat 🤯🤯
The guy I bought my boat from fished from that area and told me he a number of these over the years. I have seen nature programmes that suggest that they bread in the area!

Cheers fella, was a bloody shock when it came up that’s for sure!! 😂 It definitely wasn’t on our radar as a possible target. But absolutely unreal to see one in the flesh. Like you say it’s likely that we’ll never even see one again
@mboutdoors_uk I think I would have let a bit of wee out if I'd surfaced that fish. To have it to your own boat too is just the icing mate. Buzzing tash got it though! That's bragging rights for life haha. Does she realise how rare they are?
We catch them off the East Coast of America when fishing for summer flounder. They are flat fish vacuums! They are protected also. Just look at that slot of a mouth. Tight Lines
Fished all the beaches down there. At first thought the main beach shown was whistling sands. But wasn't, just wondering where you where, coz couldn't suss it out.
It’s just great to be out, as said before will show you a couple of cheeky marks when you pass through the the bridges if we bump into each other at the slip it will open up a few different species for you 🎣🎣🎣
We went out of Menai Bridge on Weds. Seemed every one else in Wales did too!! 🤦🏻♂️😂😂 Mines a Merc 60 EFI. Get about 25 mph top end in fair conditions 🛥️ 💨
@@mboutdoors_uk we gave up on Holyhead and was going to go to Menai but decided to call it an early do and come home shame we would of seen you lol how many miles do you get out of a tank we have the 60 Bigfoot and was getting 28mph with two people
@@Darren-p3y I’ve no idea on miles to a tank if I’m honest. Should probably know but I just have loads of fuel on board if I’m out for a full day, never gotten low even doing big miles tbh. You didn’t miss much fishing wise pal, we didn’t have anything exciting out of MB, stunning weather again though 👌🏼
