I must say this is one of the biggest tourist traps i’ve ever fallen into. Rovaniemi is hideous, and has absolutely zero interest, but snow tends to disguise it. On the other hand, if your plan is to explore the beautiful lapland region, yeah sure waste a couple hours there, but don’t make that the center of your trip.
