Doing what I love and recording it, GTA V, Friday The 13TH, Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros Deluxe, I basically record for the most part then try to find the best and funniest moments either by myself or with my friends
looking back on this it was totally lost on me how awesome it was to spend this weekend with you guys. Tony getting his pilots license had to be an incredible feeling of achivement. So glad we got to be a part of it and spend time together. Time of our lives!
This movie is a fantasy not a single part of this scene shows true bushedo a samurai way a life or code of honor towards fallen opponent seeking to reclaim its honor
I'm ashamed of the filmmakers. This is the final fight of the two main characters and they cut the budget on it and just made this fight out of pieces of videos of past fights. If you look closely, you will see that during the fight, Drew's clothes are constantly changing, they are never together in the frame and sometimes the weapons of past fighters flash from the edge of the frame.
Just recently watched this movie, and I never heard of it. I am always a huge fan of American Ninja but have never heard of American Samurai before. The master was the same actor who played as the Sensei and Vietnam soldier who found and adopted Joe from American Ninja and trained him in Ninjustu. I liked the similar backstory here.
This movie cracks me up. Terrible editing, odd dips from other scenes thrown in, and the worst sex scene in film history: you could literally tell it was two different people than the actors. The tape I rented was edited for tv, both in language and gore, but there was still a fair amount of gore there which was weird. The story is an interesting one, and if this movie had a real budget and a decent director it could have been something good. The girl's entire character feels tacked on; she's cute as hell, but they seem to try not to focus on her as anything more than an annoyance. Shame.
Know i was go throw my childhood with this scene well this one was one of many through 80s and 90s especially love the music on they ceremony thanks for bring back my childhood years.
They never fought. Watch closely and you'll notice the entire fight is cut scenes pasted from previous fights of both Drew and Kenjiro, in between random cheering , swords clashing amidst smoke and them staring seriously at each other. After Kenjiro draws his sword and Drew does his "ohm" technique to stop his attack (I assume) Kenjiro starts slowly raising his sword... @2:57 when Drew draws his sword to attack , Kenjiro blocks but actually its the scene when he cuts PhanXu's chain at a different camera angle. @ 3:35 they jump back to when Kenjiro initially draws the sword and scene cuts before Drew's "ohm" . @4:06 More cut scenes Kenjiro vs PhanXu , and Drew vs McKinney. @3:40 After Drew decides to fight from the ground (cause why not) this was PhanXu when in the beginning of fight against Kenjiro he does a turning move to fight from ground stance and Kenjiro points down with his sword @3:46 Kenjiro attacks him but the scene used was Kenjiro's first attack against PhanXu. You can see the red cloth and same fighting sequence. @3:56 When you see Drew blocking Kenjiro's attack , you can see Lars' axe. @ 4:15 were back to when Kenjiro starts slowly raising his sword at Drew's ohm phase again. @ 4:22 you still see Drew's hand in ohm position at the beginning. The previous fights were epic to say the least. PhanXu vs Kenjiro was the best fight imo. Nonetheless this is one of my favorite 90s movies.
This duel shot in different studios? You never see both of them in a shot together during an exchange. I have a hard time seeing Dacascos in a role like this. He’s one of my favorite martial arts actors though.
The original fight was a buildup to the moment where David slices Mark's chest and what follows (a homage to Miyamoto Musashi's most famous fight). If you watch the fighting before that, you can see they used shots from previous fights they had and some inserts of katana's clashing in a void without seeing either of them. You can see the red sash that was on the swords of the guy with the long braid who Mark fought earlier. Someone apparently thought the original version was boring and they destroyed it in editing. I have a soft spot for this movie as I had the VHS and later the DVD, but the editing is horrendous. The fights are clearly out of order (the one villain says the first fight is up, yet we already saw a fight just before that) and you can see fighters training who are supposed to be dead.
