Curiosity brought me here - not quite the same as our Turnip ( Swedes) Harvesters where we must cut off the roots unlike fodder beet. Lot of Fodder Wheel Spinach here in this wet heavy going soil. Thanks for posting - brought back memories of Sounds and sights!
I don't believe I've ever witnessed a plowing demonstration performed in this particular manner. IS it a competition of some sort for amount of land plowed in a given time?
Hello John. I made this tractor my self. It is based on an Agria 2800 walk-behind- garden tiller, with a one cylinder Hatz diesel engine with 10 hp. It has 6 speed forward and 2 reverse speeds. It weighs ap. 1100 pounds. I also made the plow. 1/2 size IH 700 highclearance, with 6" moldboards and automatiic resets. The springs came from a trampolin. I raise the plow with a hydro-electric pump, with a 12 volt battery,, mounted on the plow. What country are you from?
Nutfield was very popular in some parts of Denmark back in the day along with Massey-Ferguson. Dronningborg combines were made in Denmark. Some were their own models, and some were built on license for Massey-Ferguson, and for the same reason Dronningborg combines were sold as MF in other countries. The company was sold to AGCO in 1998 and stopped making combines under their own name, instead they made Fendt and MF combines, along with some for Deutz-Fahr. AGCO shut down all production in Denmark in 2010 and moved it to Italy, and all that remains is largely an R&D and service department
