Following the non-LP teaser "Santa Teresa”-hailed as “beautifully ambient” by NPR-Ed O’Brien of Radiohead has unveiled the first impression of his debut album under the moniker of EOB.
Written by O’Brien, “Brasil” is a near 9-minute epic that begins life as a plaintive ballad built on the bare bones of O’Brien’s voice and acoustic guitar before blooming into a grandiose motorik rave-up anchored by the rock-solid drumming of Omar Hakim and a hypnotic bassline from O’Brien’s Radiohead bandmate Colin Greenwood. Produced by Flood (who also contributes System 700 synth) and mixed by Alan Moulder, the dimensions of “Brasil” are further expanded by engineer Adam “Cecil” Bartlett's programming, David Okumu's guitar playing, and recording engineer Richie Kennedy's sampler programming.

The atmosphere is so inspiring. I'm watching it over and over again. This is wonderful. 😟 Again i found something that really resonates me. Such good vibes
My earliest memories are when my mom gave me some books to read when i was ill. It was a pretty fun time. The first book was Alyenka😂 , such a short story written in a simple-poetic way so i didn't pay much attention. (that was for small kids) And another one was about Karlson and i never laughed so much.
Brilliant Ed is brilliant and maybe the nicest guy in music Paul, what can you say? The Beatles took over the world, the culture, changed music and society and Paul just acts like it was one big laugh 😂
This is the best of these videos, because EOB with great sincerity tells Paul how important and loved he is. It's what all his fans feel and think too. It's so important he gets to hear this. And by saying it EOB elevates himself, unlike the other videos where they're trying to act cool and better than Paul. Paul you're loved, and are the Shakespeare of songwriting.
Hello Ed! Beautiful to hear! I am a musician and luthier from Buenos Aires, Argentina. I play in a Radiohead tribute band. We are very fanatical of their music! Greetings from Argentina !
Thank you for this! Ed, please get together with the mates and consider touring as radiohead in the states. Would really love to see you all play live for the first time in my life!
What a casual, wonderfull conversation between these two great musicians. Paul is as ever fresh and down to earth as ever, and Ed (along with his daughter) is great as well. I have been an a Paul run lately watching many interviews and trying at home (and with my cover band Suitcase of Grace) to play my bass and sing like him as well.
Radiohead it's just my all time favorite band and of course the Beatles's music have been part of my life in so much occasions and Paul is really something else ❤️ i am glad i had the chance to see radiohead multiple times and Paul in one very emotional and special time.
How great. Paul is so relaxed in this talking to Ed. He's completely out of Q&A or publicity mode and just having a conversation with another musician.
A bit late but, Some comments are a bit pretentious and focusing on Paul instead of Ed. John and George would be very disappointed at you idiots for being biased.
I think I just now watched this for the fifth time. Dear me. This is a kind of magic. And in the spirit of this interview, I recommended it to my daughter (a few years older than Oona). She loved it as well. Well done. Really.
