Hello. Thanks for video. I am writing from abroad. Can I get a full scholarship from the university for undergraduate film education? I mean, I'm writing a book and I want to read this chapter and make a movie. What do you think will make the university give me a scholarship (full scholarship and monthly financial aid)
The reason we "don'tike visitors" is because the majority of "visitors" burn down our biffyss, tear up gravestones of miscarriages, throw trash all through the woods. So yes we don't like visitors ut that doesn't mean we're a some crazy cult people🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
Do they teach your how to edit and such or is that something they expect you to know that? Because of the application, I assume they expect you to know how to edit (which is really intimidating for me)
im currently applying with 0 experience in film. all I have so far is just a video production elective in high school. i think you just need to make it clear that you have 0 experience in film but also are interested in learning more about film
No, I didn't! You can view the one I submitted and got into the production program with here: www.moschmedia.com/videos?wix-vod-video-id=fa1a4060b6344f94999baeab1f52ad8e&wix-vod-comp-id=comp-jshn2q9y2
I just had an interview too! Do you know if the interview means you’ve already been accepted and they want to learn more or is it still part of the admissions process 😅
This video is so educational! I've been trying to find for RU-vid vid like yours that breaks down the ideas in this video! 👩⚕️Your vid totally reminds me of the content from Dr. Ethan. Dr Ethan's tips are for sure insightful and he actually helped me on my wellness. He is the most informative Doctor on RU-vid and he teaches diseases! I recommend you see his YT out and give the doc a like! 👉 #DoctorEthanStudent
I am currently an education major and its been really hard going to school with the COVID-19 stuff going on, I'm also rethinking my career and my financial situations because I currently owe my school 3k and to enroll in the next semester I'll have to get that under 1500, which is doable but I'll have to work more to cover that debt and my living expenses. Overall, I'm thinking if I like my clinical classes this semester and get passionate about teaching again I'll stay in, but if I'm not feeling it I want to take a gap to pay off my debt and find out what I actually want to do before getting into the very specialized classes of my degree. I'm not sure how to bring it up to my family though and I'm really not sure how to bring it up to my boyfriend who I live with. I'm the first kid in my family to go to college and I'm afraid if I take a gap semester everyone is going to equate it to me dropping out and be angry with me, even though my family hasn't helped pay for school at all. I really don't know, even if I like my teaching classes this semester I think I should take a gap anyways to pay off my school on what I've accumulated so far. Thanks for the video though, it helped me think about it more.
I think that the coaching you had in high school did not help you gain the self confidence you needed to be successful in college. You have the skills, but none of your high school coaches really gave you the credit for it and developed it. You had a few coaches in the traveling teams and off season teams you played on, but only getting that positive feedback a few months out of the whole year was not enough.
Thanks for sharing your story. I think a ton of people can relate. My niece had a similar experience. She was a fantastic trumpet player and wound up getting a music scholarship at University of Michigan. Once there, she felt totally overwhelmed by the caliber of musicians. She had a very difficult time gaining her confidence and like you, was second guessing herself as to why she was even there.
