A Really Great Car, If Only It Does not have alot of reliability issues & in the wrong side of history which forced Pugeot to Leave WRC at the End of 2005.
Fia rules and regulation is unfair and selfish unfair to Mitsubishi Lancer Evo because Fia jealousy to what Mitsubishi has excieve in world rally competition better perfect driving performance handling stablity cornering than the others rival car mostly from European car that why Mitsubishi no longer producing new model Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 12 and stop from rally championship
This version was the first Galant built in America. Production at DSM in Illinois began in 1993 and continued until the eighth-generation model was ready five years later.
For non-French: sur gauche= left á droite= right á fond= flat out ferme= (corner) closes - ferme tard= closes late ouvre= (corner) opens and further on we hear a lot of mentioning distances like: cinquante (50) metre, quatre-vingt (4x20= 80) metre, trois cent (300) metre etcetera pi-ege= watch out glisse= slippery terre= ground / gravel frein= brake pas corde= don't cut (?) 6:08 redouble!!= take over! :-) By the way, I am not a Frenchman ...
I was born in during CN-CP Series still in production. Really first time I met Evo is in around 2000-2005 game. When I learn more about Evo, that’s when I start to love older Evo like this one. Also as watched both Jackie Chan movies and Initial D, I became have more love for Evo. Still wishing to own any of them till these day no matter what generation. I must say that during 70s-mid 00s mitsubishi were really made cool cars beside Evo like 3000GT, FTO, Starion, Galant etc. May not born during those time but I also miss them same as Three Diamonds enthusiasts during that time
That car should never have been homologated full stop. Stupid idea the killed on of Britain’s best co drivers and ended the career of a brilliant driver.
Wasn't the 307s fault that he was killed though was it? The focus or corolla wrc of the time crashed in the same way would have killed him. It's the same as Craig Breen's i20, no other car would have saved him, its just the way it is sometimes. While the 307 wasn't brilliant, the concept was good & the testing was solid!
