Very human perspective of a professional race car driver, always tagging the family along to see the races, especially Le Mans; a delight to watch. Porsche really takes care of their engineers and personnel, hence why they spend a great amount of money on hospitality. 😊
Alessandro pierguidi pls It would be great if he talked about the 24h spa 2021, it would be interesting to know why dries didn't push, I guess it was too risky and #51 had nothing to lose
Great pod. I have been watching all 3 of you for years, and especially Jules in the beginning when I watched GT Masters like crazy when he was in Calloway. Such good times as a spectator. Great episode fellas. Cheers from stateside.
Great episode! I would have lived to hear a bit more about Andre's racing in Japan in JGTC/SuperGT, with Nakajima Racing and Toyota/Toms. What those cars were like to race. Anyway great podcast, such a cool likeable guy!
Met Jules a couple of times, first time spoke for about 10 mins. Few months later I bump into him again, the guy remembered my name, small thing but speaks volumes about him. Forever a fan now
Definitely one of the funniest podcasts in the series . I have enjoyed them all so far but this one was sooooo good I bought one of Lauren’s’ t-shirts from his on-line shop 😂👍
Thank you for putting it together it's so nice. I've heard from it from Gary Parravani and one thing I think we all have in common in the racing world is the lack of visiting and enjoying the places we visit. I'm not a pro photographer as Gary, more an AM-PRO car photographer and when we travel I focus only on the racing (no matter if it's Le Mans which is killer for us, Formula 1, Formula E, bla bla) you just focus on the pics and the job and never go out for some fun discovering time and it's a shame because we are there. Neither when you are marshaling because you are so tired after your stints.....
Great episode! It could have been another hour long. Other guests. Why not Nicki Thiim. Big personality and just won Spa. He also had that run in 2 years ago with Jules at Spa. Maxim Gotz. Maro Engel, Matt Campbell, and Patrick Pilet are some names that come to mind.
What a great episode! Just shows that sometimes you have to catch a lucky break - but to do so, you have to show up first 💪🏻 Winkelhock sounds like a super funny guest, too 🤩 Any chance you can get Kamui on one day for a bit of inter-brand banter?
Loved this episode, an episode with just Michelle would be good to get her side of the stories. I’d like to see some of the top AM drivers on, Sarah Bovy, Ben Keating.
I loved the discussion comparing the AMG and BMW. More about this please? What are the different cars like to drive? Which is your favourite car and why?
Good to see some actual professionals talking about driver weight. James Calado and Alessandro Pier Guidi - two of the most successful GT drivers in recent memory, have been banging on about it for years, and all the armchair experts just rip them for it.
