My first concert was Van Halen at the San Diego Sports Arena on 7/8/78 on the first headlining tour. I was 15. Van Halen (with DLR) is my favorite band. I like some Van Hagar stuff too.

Why the hell didn't they let them play live??? They were awesome live & musicians aren't use to faking it like this & it just turns out silly. Besides that's a live audience & they played to them all the time just fine.

Lip syncing to a recording SUCKS and it's well beneath Van Halen. This is tough to watch. Great song would have been cool live......but......no such luck. Just TV promotional CRAP in support of the latest released record at the time. I've seen Van Halen with Dave 3 times and then a couple more with Sammy Hagar......always GREAT "live"......but I'd have walked out on this one if I'd been there. This is really weak.
