There's no scam, most info like pH-value etc. is printed on the fokking packaging. People are just lazy to read or straightforward suffer in functional illiteracy thus can't comprehend complex information
does need nitrogen, but I literally don't give it any extra nitrogen. In the reason I don't is because the Okra that was in the beds that I always fed the plants good in, they never done great.. but I figured out i feed a seaweed thats 0 1.5 1 All the way up to when it starts blooming.🎉🎉 I live in South Carolina and we picking okra all the way up until it freezes.😊
I've read that they like younger leaves because of them being softer. Japanese Beetles ravaged my strawberry leaves but left my Kale and Lettuce alone. So odd...
Yep, I never had Canada thistle until I had a large load of wood chips dumped and it took me awhile to get them moved and distributed. By then, the original area was full of thistles and I've been battling it for 5+ years now. Tried the vinegar and even tried black plastic - they just spread! Have been working on your method of continued digging but hard to get out there every day.
First time growing dahlias in a planter box!!! 🎉 I'd like to have flowers while the dahlias are growing. Are there any companion annuals that work well? I'm in zone 5, planter box is in full sun. Thanks!
Hey Luke this is kind of related to this video but not really. I watched your video on beets and you said it doesn't matter how crowded they are. We planted a bunch of beets real close together. The beet tops were large and amazing looking but the actual beets are tiny. What are some reasons for this?
I did this not only did I get the healthiest plant ever I got plants that came up all along where I snapped off those branches so it routed but it also gave me like three or four plants now I've got not one plant but three or four plants
Should I plant small shriveled seed potatoes? They are feeling kind of hard. Or could I soak them to help rehydrate them a bit. Then dry them off and plant them? Wondering what everyone thinks?!
Luke, once a single pumpkin starts to show, can I prune off any vines that want to continue past it, in order to focus all the energy into that one pumpkin?
ALWAYS over winter some super productive individuals and extra tasty specimens. Try this with cherry tomatoes, too. The reward makes it worth the effort. Early fruits and harvests!
I dont garden without trifecta! I have tried other brands etc. And come back to trifecta. For mothers day, i got a large bag for 2 years in a row! Lol The perfect gift for a gardener for sure!❤
just a warning on borage...i didn't find it did squat to keep pests off tomatoes and although the bees love it, it seeds like CRAZY and you will get it over and over again
Wow... So this is why my plants died... I thought the PH was correct but it wasn't correct enough, and they needed sulfur to help them uptake the nutrients that I was giving them. My poor blueberry bushes😭
Hey Luke, lovin' the channel from Kansas City! Quick note - when you put your weeds at the curb, that likely means they're just ending up in the city's supply of compost. Also, ending up your neighbors' compost and gardens if your city has a free or low-cost compost and mulch program for residents.
I was hoping You’d have shown the benefits of getting totally away from bagged soilless mixes… maybe purchasing peat moss and perlite and sand and mixing your own or doing one better and using properly made compost that has reached temps high enough to kill off weed seeds. That’s what I do and it works
