God bless you man. Keep the videos coming. I loved Ronnie and his music practically my entire life. And he did so so many things in the 70’s and 80’s. I mean tv specials, Dick Clark shows, The Tonight Show etc etc. But it’s so hard to find this stuff on video. Appreciate ya. Love this channel or “vlog”. 👍
Thank you. I am a lady. I put up whatever I can find. Many things have been lost to time so anything I can find and put up here is a lost treasure IMO. BTW if you are on Facebook I have a corresponding Facebook page called The Milsap Fan Blog also. I update it every day and archive articles and photos and other things Ronnie there. Feel free to give it a follow if you are so inclined. (Ronnie, well his producer...just plugged my page when he drew one of my questions out of the fishbowl for Ronnie to answer on his podcast!
Man or woman thank you SO MUCH for your channel and the things you post. So glad I found this channel. Get to here live Ronnie stuff from the old days that’s just FANTASTIC. Seen him live several times all great but all the late 80s and 90’s sets. Just now hearing early stuff. It’s great👍. Keep up the good work. Thanks
I was in 10th grade when George passed away. My mom let me stay home from school to watch his funeral. I remember thinking this was the standout performance of the whole thing, Ronnie nailed it. Thanks for posting.
Where in the world do you find all this stuff! His lead guitar player and road manager produced me several years ago and we're very good friends. I love Ronnie's live stuff and yet when I've asked about this kind of thing, even they don't have this type of stuff!
I was a radio personality so these would get sent to the station I worked at and after they aired once, they were either destroyed or kept by many disc jockeys which makes them true rarities. This one is dated in the late 70s when I was just a kid so it wasn't one that a station I worked at played, but I do have a few that I took home. I have many more than what I have uploaded here; copyright blocks have prevented me from sharing all of them but I have uploaded a few where allowed. This is one of them. This particular one I think I got on eBay. I have been able to get a few from Discogs too, plus I am acquainted with a few collectors of vintage radio shows and they were willing to part with their Ronnie Milsap content! FYI you are not the first person to tell me that Ronnie didn't even have something in his collection. His long time producer Rob Galbraith told me just last week that neither he nor Ronnie has a copy of the rare instrumental/dance mix of "She Loves My Car" that I put on here too! I am just a fan, but if Ronnie ever feels a need to release this or anything else I may have the way he did the Gilley's show that was uploaded as an online only album "Blast From the Past", I would be honored to loan or even relinquish it to him.
Thanks for posting this song , Milsap fan blog , I heard this song in 1980, and I couldn't find it anymore , til finally I found it here after all these years , its the best song I've ever heard , even now !
Yep. I have had this record for a long time now too. It's on a 12 inch 45 speed vinyl. From what I understand it was only released for clubs and raves, so it's been highly sought after. I had posted it here on You Tube once before but the volume was low so this is the redo.
