I love Princess Michael and only in recent years I realised what an intelligent and industrial beauty she has been! Wishing she will write a memoir soon!
reporting women are jelous and meannies😮😮 I for one like Princess 👸 Michael of Kent. Meanwhile, Julie Montagu who holds a title but not much other than that.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣this is a monumento to british mediocracy 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣Princess Michael is a lady, a cosmopolitan lady... unlike most of the wolmen saying so many nonsense
Having met her at a horse trials event in Gloucestershire, she was gracious, interested in my horses and said what a pleasure it was to present me with a prize . Imo she's a very likable Princess
@@Phillip-p1e I tend to disagree. Anyone wearing a Blackmore Broach to meet a the first mixed race family member, is problematic. I think Prince Michael has had shady business dealings with Russian Oligarchs too
It’s a brooch of a black prince. Don’t people know what these brooches are?? Why shouldn’t black royalty be celebrated and held to the same regard and European royalty ??
It’s astounding how ignorant people are regarding the origin and meaning of blackamoor art, jewelry etc. and jump to the conclusion it’s somehow racist. They’re so stupid and apparently happy to be stupid
I love her broach! She is a lovely member of the Firm. I hope Harry's wife cried in rage. ( but is that creature capable of real emotions? Team Princess Michael , the most royal of royals , not team gold digger former suitcase girl. As for P.M. opinion of Diana , spot on.
This woman commentator is wrong regarding what the blackamoor brooch really means or represents. It actually represents a moor of royal status. But, people today, like her, who have no knowledge of such a 17th century origin, have given it an incorrect racist connotation. However, I think that's something which Princess Michael should have known. Having so many other brooches from which to choose, no doubt that it was very unfortunate to wear it just when she did, so maybe she did do it to offend. "The sting" from the faux buyer that Princess Michael suffered is on her, since nobody forced her to talk so candidly to a stranger. She's definitely a character, full of contradictions and mischief, and it's definitely very difficult to be a royal with no money!
I think chances are good that she does know the history of the brooch. I'm currently reading one of her books and I am impressed with the depth of her historical knowledge. However, I do think she should have realized how this brooch would be seen by the general public. So she's either out of touch or she did do it on purpose. I should add that after reading her book I dislike her much less than I did previously!
