@@Handle9878 yes, you can. Better to go there a day ahead to ensure there are tickets available. 7/11 also provides the service of purchasing these tickets, but the communication could be an issue.
@@Handle9878 yes. From Surat Thani town, you can go to the ferry companies’ office there and purchase joint van+ferry ticket, which will take you to Donsak pier then Samui
I was a little surprised to see all the tailors in the streets. Are they as pushy as they used to be? Or can you walk 20 meters without getting approached? Will visit in 20 days - can't wait!
Very nice journey, when everything is back to normal, then i am going back to thailand and go alsof travelling by bus to samui instead of using the airplane what i normaly do. My first trip from bangkok to samui was in 1988 by train and one year later the smal airport on samui opened. My last trip was in 2018, and i realy miss thailand a lot,i hope to go in june or juli. @@VirtualTours4K yes. In particular just getting the hotels to provide acceptable docs that prove we have pre paid 7 nights accom and the airport transfer. An important doc for the Thailand pass etc. my wife is Thai, but an NZ citizen now. She can’t understand why her people make it so hard to come home. Thanks for you info anyway
@@novak4594 Yeah, the Thai Pass is a pain in the ass. It was even way harder when I entered last year - more docs required. So don't be discouraged because of that. I'd say it is only a matter of time and patience to get it sorted. Doing a Thai Pass tutorial does not fit in this channel, since this is a scenery channel. Here's a link to the approved Test & Go hotels. Most of these hotel websites have pages for purchasing the Test & Go package (including airport transfer and the in-hotel PCR test). Also, the Thailand Reopening FB group is also quite helpful. Hope this helps!
