Started learning the guitar? Finding it hard work? That's okay! Learning the guitar is a lot more fun if you are playing real songs that you enjoy, and fortunately there are a lot of songs out there that are very suited to beginners. I upload video lessons showing you how to play these songs using easy chords.
And, very importantly, this information is provided for right-handed AND left-handed guitarists!
My lessons are very short and direct. I believe that guitarists these days don't get the opportunity to figure things out themselves which is an essential part of the learning process, so my videos are designed to be thought of more as practice projects. Watch them, pause and rewind sections, write down the chord sequences.
You can make a capo with a pencil and an elastic band! Otherwise you'll have to raise the chord names by 2 half steps to find the chords you'll have to play if you want to stay in the correct key (e.g., Em7 becomes F#m7).
Hey thank you. This is just what I was looking for. great song of the nineties. One of the last made good songs full of meaning (to me) and rest my soul. At moment I can't support your patreon. but I would. Greetings from Naples Italy
Great job - interesting to see the left have view but great if you practice in front of a mirror. As an aside the key is way to high for a tenor male vocal - I have to drop the whole thing half an octave and reconfigure the chords accordingly! Makes it even more smiths like ….
Don’t need a capo at the 2nd fret! Just play the whole piece in F#minor! No capo, standard tuning. Longer strings give the guitar a more sustaining, resonant tone.👆👍
Don't worry, everyone feels this way about them when they start (and even after quite some time!). Muscle memory and strength needs to be built up, but make sure you are using good techniques. There are many online resources to help. Learning barre chords is a process that comes gradually, not an overnight thing. Try not to be afraid of them and push yourself to keep having a go at them.
Lefty!!! Get him!!! Just kidding.... Great video, nice that you have it for both right and left handed which covers all players....... Nice video, I will be paying attention to more content from you. Always room for one more guitar instruction channel which teaches how to play it right. Although technically the correct way for this song uses a lot of barre chords, this is a commonly agreed easy strumming version that most people are probably playing who are not part of the band Blind Melon.
Excuse me if I spoke too soon My eyes have always Followed you around the room 'Cause you're the only God that I will ever need I'm holding on and waiting for the moment to find me Hope I didn't speak too soon My eyes have always Followed you around the room 'Cause you're the only God that I will ever need I'm holding on and waiting for the moment For my heart to be unbroken by the sea Let me fly you to the moon My eyes have always followed you around the room 'Cause you're the only God that I will ever need I'm holding on and waiting for the moment to find me
