Really wish indie devs stopped with the 2D enemy sprites in the 3d shooters. I get it is nostalgia for the boomer shooter days and cost effective, but just really clashes with a lot of the other designs. Especially with how nice the 3D assets look, would have been cool to see the NPCs done the same way. Still looks pretty cool game though.
I personally quite enjoy the mix myself, but I can see your point of view! To me, it definitely hits that nostalgia fix for sure. Brought me back to the good old days with like Hexen and Doom xD But to each their own.

It's an amazing game! Couldn't agree more with all of what you said. And that is the in-game music! All around a fantastic game imo. Looking forward to it releasing.
I could see it. Ontop of that, it's the demo, so while there's a ton to do in it, it's still pretty basic. Try it out! It's free on Steam atm if you've got an okay PC!
Sulfur based on the demos is really going to be a blast. If anything the only thing that may hold it back will be the lack of coop when a lot of shooter roguelikes have coop.
I think it'll be a blast for sure. And ya, Co-op would be amazing. But At the same time, I enjoyed games like Hades and the likes. Really looking forward to the full release, so we can see some of the other content. There's a ton of content in the demo, I put like... 8 hours just into the Demo alone xD
The music is fire in this one! I'm sadly not sure what the name of it is, it's actually the Background Music in game! They've done a great job with the musical score!

This game looks pretty cool I like the art and gameplay, and it was funny seeing you play even though I couldn't hear because I could tell what you where doing just from your actions 10/10 great gameplay showcase.
