What a stupid feature. What if the battery is dead or key isn’t in the car? Overall, new Volvo interior controls and ergonomics are overly complicated for no reason at all.
volvo is not more than chinese junk , i have 2022 electric volvo , change battery under waranty new in the box ( MADE IN CHINA ) , and now electric motor noisy , dealer order new one in the box ( MADE IN CHINA ) , why i pay for volvo and i get a CHINESE JUNK ??? next time i will buy a Geely , same car at half price

Nice tip. I sometimes the “Preconditioning“ button 10 mins before using the car to warm/cool it. However I was never able to understand the “keep climate confort” button, it looks always greyed out. Any Idea what it is for ?

Great video. Due to COVID restrictions we haven’t had a chance to see/test drive one in Toronto yet. If one pedal is off, is the brake pedal blended between friction and regeneration or just friction? What’s the initial term for the 4G connection and after that expires has the cost per month been determined? Is a heat pump available as standard or option? Is a tow bar standard or an option?
Great job Brian. I’ve had my new XC40 for a week now and it is awesome. You did a very good job of explaining one pedal drive and how it feels and sounds when you push the accelerator hard. It’s like going into warp drive!
Hi Adam, No it does not have Sirius XM or Volvo On Call, yet. I called Volvo On Call and they said the Recharge is on a new system and that Volvo On Call would be available for the XC40 Recharge later this year. Not sure is Sirius XM will also be added later.
