Thankyou for posting this. I had a ride on one of these 150s up to Huddersfield from Meadowhall via Penistone in June 24. I find it hard to believe Northern are getting away with running these 1980s tubs. It was in a terrible state, horrendously noisy, draughty and the window looked like they were going to drop out, well past its time. These need getting rid of and replacing straight away.
Right from 00:08 I'm asking myself, "Is that the diff?" I think it sounds awful when it started decelerating after the bus was at top speed. I did like the turbo, though.
2:23 That would've startled me, too. It sounds like this one had no regen. All the ones I've had have been like that, although I've only had two. I feel like I prefer it like that on these.
Nice route only thing I don't like is on the route putney to tolworth is it goes on the estate at Roehampton back out to Roehampton lane serves same bus stop. The 85s go straight up Roehampton lane to the A3.
The adblue could do with a top-up. On the plus side, the passengers were decently quieter around the South Harrow area, so there were some moments I could enjoy the sounds more. The kickdown at least works, but it would be nice to think the other TEs are quicker than this.
