A lot of the comments are about the pig, but I gotta mention the dude who said “nothing good” when the hero’s bandana was right there in the first rainbow chest.
Mouse support for ps4 would be amazing! Balatro is extremely addicting and the only thig stopping me from playing it more is how much repetitive dpad inputs I need to play on the controller, it really hurts my hand after a while
i had 50+ hours of noita with no win and was watching you play making so many mistakes, picked up the game after about a year and got my first win on my 6th run, thanks for the inspo :)
Wall of noita text, but I am trying to be helpful. People in your chat mentioned different builds and it certainly makes sense you would immediately think along the line of tank, healer, dps, etc. However in Noita its more like Payload, rapid fire, and utility. Utility would be things like, a heal wand, a digging wand, and/or a teleport wand. Rapid fire as the name suggests would be building your wand to have or nearly have a 0 cast delay and 0 cooldown delay wand so that your wand goes brrrrr and do a ton of damage. My favorite early rapid fire wand is add mana with double cast chainsaw and spark bolt with trigger, and the trigger casts chainsaw. Very fast, light mana use, high damage wand. Payload wand is the opposite of rapid fire where the goal is to utilize as much of your max mana on the wand to do one big giant hit. My favorite payload wand is piercing shot, homing, spark bolt with trigger, and then trigger into + damage spell modifiers with as many chainsaws, drill bolts, and/or luminous drills. Piercing shot causes trigger spells to drop its payload repeatedly as it travels through the enemy doing crazy damage. You also need to pay much closer attention to the wand stats, after the second holy mountain you put concentrated light and spark bolt with trigger on a wand with a mana regen of 10. Concentrated light costs 30 mana and spark bolt with trigger costs 10. Also because it was a shuffle wand, you will occasionally fire in the order of concentrated light > double cast > spark bolt with trigger > which then wraps to the start and casts concentrated light again which means you sometimes fired a 70 mana round of spells and you only regenerate 10 mana which is why your wand stopped working because you ran out of mana. Biggest advice I can offer is spend more time in the biomes and gather more gold. On average I enter the first mountain with 1k gold. In the second mountain, I on average enter with 3.5k gold. It truly helps when you get wand shops so you can buy all the wands that are either good, or have good spells. Also take your time building your wand, pay attention to how the spells effect the speed of your wand, its mana cost, and utilize the trigger spells. Like at 16:15, you actually didn't have too much to work with, but you could have cooked up something with the spark bolt with trigger like spark bolt with trigger > triple cast > triplicate bolt > spitter bolt > spitter bolt. Its not the best, but it could hit decently and then used your second best wand to put on that teleport bolt you got so that you had a utility wand which lets you leave the mountain without collapsing it, teleport out of danger, and travel faster. Best of luck Dan, I know you can do it!
