Great lecture. There were a few gaps though in the assessment of the Jewish approach to living in the Land. The Jews DO NOT view our presence in the land, both in the past and now as unconditional. We are well aware of the concept imparted in Leviticus 18:28: “So let not the land spew you out for defiling it, as it spewed out the nation that came before you.” We know that nothing is guaranteed, rather is contingent on our faithfulness to the Torah. I know that everyone loves talking about "Zionism", but it is a tertiary concept among the Jews, and one that is not fully understood among non-Jews, to put it nicely. The corrupt, godless individuals who rule the State of Israel do not act for the benefit of the Jewish people are known among the Jews as the "Erev Rav." For those interested look the term up. Many, many Jews who dwell in the Land are good people and long for Godliness, purity, and holiness. The best thing a Muslim can do for a Jew is not to fight him or oppress him, despite the current political issues and conflict, but rather to encourage him to return to the Torah. We do not know what will happen in the future. The Islamic prophecy quoted is at odds with many of the prophecies in the Old Testament, which our Sages say refers to a future time that has not yet occurred. In any case it makes no sense to worry about "what will be" The main thing is to spend one's entire life, all his energy, and resources pursuing truth, refined character, purity, and complete trust in the Creator of the World.

I am a Jew and a Zionist, but this is the first Muslim I have ever seen who actually understands Judaism. I have heard so many lies spread about the Jews by muslims. But this man very well understands the difference between the religion of Judaism and the descendants of Israel. He also understands the covenant which is the basis of religious Judaism. I do not like how he treats our converts, they join us, just like when you marry someone you become family even if you don't have the same blood. Ruth is a convert to Judaism and she is the grandmother of King David! So if you convert to Judaism, you are joining the tribe of Judah which is one of the sons of Israel. But I thank you for the other things and histories you explained, it was truthful and accurate. I do agree that the Jews (who ARE the descendants of Israel) must govern justly to occupy the land. I hope for peace, I hope for justice, and I hope two people can find a way to share, and to love. The Jewish people deserve a home as they have been forced out of almost every Muslim and Christian nation, and they cannot return to Iraq nor to Germany. But the people of Gaza and the West Bank also deserve dignity and life.

Appreciate it. Only thing is, Muslims kept Jews in their land when Christians kicked them out. Most of the expulsions took place during monarchy. Outside the havara agreement, Muslims never wanted to expel Jews. Iran has the largest Jewish population in the region outside Israel. There's Jews living in Yemen, Syria today.

But more importantly if yu are serious about justice and about peace... do you see anything problematic about telling Jews to go back and live in the country where 90% of our population was incinerated in ovens. What is happening in Palestine is an awful tragedy, and that is only about 1% of Palestinians dead... now imagine a people who lost 90%, telling them they need to go back there and be at the mercy of another society is disingenuous. And more importantly half of Jewish Israelis came from the Muslim world. They can't go back to Iraq, They cant go back to Syria etc. Islam and the umma is half responsible for what is happening in palestine. If Islam seriously wants to help Palestine they need to recognize what they did to help create this problem. It is the only way.

I have not heard the complete video, The purpose of this response is only to educate and to tell muslims to come and know Islam for yourself, unless you don’t know it yourself, you are going to believe what your parents tell you, what some scholar you listen to tell you etc The problem is most of the muslims that follow Islam blindly, they believe everything they here to be true. Especially shia muslims, because you are a minority, it is the need of the minority to put in a child’s brain the dogma that you believe to be true, because of the fear that believers of this dogma will eventually disappear. So when a child from a young age is told & thought certain things constantly, they believe those things to be true, and when they become big, they listen to stuff like this, they’ll be in awe, their imaan will increase, a regular muslim who is not brought up islamically, if you put both point of views infront of him or her, they will always choose that which makes the most sense. You can only influence those that themselves don’t study and know Islam. The problem is speakers like these but the bigger problem is a regular muslim doesn’t know Islam, he or she is on the deen of their parents, it is the duty of every muslim to be well versed in Islam, so that when they listen to somebody, they can make out or research to find out if that person is speaking the truth. The coming of the mahdi is not a greater purpose compared to the Return of Isa (AS), Mahdi will come as a chain for the greater purpose that will be fulfilled by Isa(AS). Mahdi will come to unite the Ummah, and Isa(AS) would then finish the greatest fitnah that has ever been created and only after that Islam will enter every household. 3) related to the Ahadith you quoted that Adam (AS) and Nuh (AS) seeked allah’s forgivness through Prophet and his family, this is not even a weak hadith (weak hadith can be considered, if the text is strong, and is trasmitted by different narrators) but a fabricated Ahadith. 4) Quran is a superior book, yes. So you try to say that who knows quran the most is superior to prophets, the verse that you mentioned to support your claim doesn’t ‘mean’ what you say. ‘The disbelievers say, “You are no messenger.” Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Allah is sufficient as a Witness between me and you, as is whoever has knowledge of the Scripture. Nowhere does this verse says that who knows more Quran is superior to any Prophet or can be considered superior to any prophet. Quran has more virtue and knowledge then torah and bible, that doesn’t mean if somebody knows more Quran he will be superior to Prophets. And you yourself know that it wasn’t just Ali (RA) who excellently knew Quran. There were other sahabas who knew Quran as much as Ali (RA). Trust me you’re only beating around the bush to prove that what you have always believed or made to believe is true. This is where shias goes to a level where you know a faction of you regards Ali (RA) as Allah نعوذبالله، why does this happen ? because you keep on pushing people to believe that somebody is soo superior, and especially when that has nothing to do with Islam. I will not get a higher place in Jannah for regarding Ahle bayt above all, i will not get a higher place in Jannah for considering Imam as greater the Prophets, in this case it can be otherwise, because a lay man will start regarding the imam soo high, that he ends up doing kufr or shirk. I will not get a higher place in jannah for thinking that ahle bayt is masoom and the imams are masoom.
