Hey there and welcome on my channel. Playing Guild Wars 2 since release. Mainly WvW Enjoyer, detours to PvE from time to time. Mainly Fractals and Strikes. Guardian Main, Engi Main, Ex Mesmer Main.
Is there another set of runes that could be used for this build? Currently about 5g each for dragonhunter runes which is a bit steep. Love the vid and looking forward to trying this out :D P.S. What is the awesome helm skin you are using?
Scholar Runes should be fine too. But I think they nerfed (or going to) the blasting module trait, so the build might not work (at least that good) anymore. It's the Jade Tech Eye Piece.
Well they really had to. NON-Interactive gameplay is never healthy. And such a crazy AoE burst from invis in 0.2sec was to much. If the kill would take 1-2sec after revealing it would be okay and the opponent could react. I didn't revisit the build since the video and specially not after the nerf. But I guess if you take hydromancy sigil it could make up for quite a bit the damage loss. Sadly It will require you to be outfight when you enter the holoform so it can proc when you overheat and leave that form. Should add about 4k burst
@@hey_i_am_nero By the way, would you know about a build 0 damage max tanky ? I do that a bit with my stealthed mesmer but I am looking for a build I would use only for personal and npc protection :)
@@migosh3876 there are some revs with ventari tablet, but non healer ones. I don't really play rev, so can't tell to much about it. I guess they play the barrier trait line there. There are some catalysts who are really tanky. There are two variants, I guess one with 4 signets and one with a lot of block. But I'd say I kinda never touched ele. And might be a bit harder to play. Untamed/Soulbeasts with both defensive trait lines nature magic and wilderness survival I think with. The mobility isn't really great on those tank build on untamed. While they can tank and kill me slowly and surely thanks to demon queen relic. if you have to flee from a group that might be problematic. Have to experiment more with ranger again. But I rarely play full tank builds. Maybe take a look at the Gameplay of CondiHeal Druid from Paper Roll.
Running the game on - RTX3060TI, which should be kinda irrelevant for GW2 - i5 11600k - 32GB RAM For GW2 I'd recommend a stronger CPU tho. In large fights I often drop down to 25-30 FPS easily. I thought I picked a CPU with good single core performance... But still not good enough for solid and permanent 60-100fps 😅 I feel like the recording looks much smoother than the actual game itself lol. Maybe my monitor is to blame and the game syncs badly with it, but the video in 60fps sync well.
Well those are still the more elegant fails I guess. Except maybe the double deadeye situation 😅 I also had the situations were I jumped a zerg and died in half a second due to the cleave at tower lord
Well RU-vid calls it 4k. Actually it's not. It's just ultrawidescreen at 2560x1440. Running the game on - RTX3060TI, which should be kinda irrelevant for GW2 - i5 11600k - 32GB RAM
Hahah nice one. I haven't bothered yet but I can't see it getting nerfed tbh it's very niche use of it can't see them doing a nerf because of a willbender burst haha
It's not just willbender 😅 i got ganked by a lot of daredevils who immediately finished me with the finishing blow elite while the ice shards downed me. That's how I learned that it's so busted. Soulbeasts One Wolf Pack does also a decent job. Additional 12k on any elite is not really healthy. Probably also really nice on mirage's jaunt 😅 with that you can easily port in the target and make sure you hit more than the intended 3 hits on that poor player xD
Well either they have no clue what's going on in their game or they ignore it. And at least for a few things I know they don't act on it, but know about it -.-*
Tip: If you want a second burst use a Relic of the Ice, which currently does crazy damage because ANet f***ed up numbers in WvW with the "PvE only" changes
Me: I've been playing since beta and there hasn't been anything really big from balance patches lately, so nothing should surprise me. Also me after watching this: I am surprised and this is pretty damn dope.
always liked the blow up trait just found it too be too punishing for what you get from it. Maybe if they made it unblockable or lessen the down time of overheat
Yea that's why I really dislike it from a gameplay perspective too. It's good for such nonsense meme one shots and in a blob. For actual roaming it feels bad. Sadly it's the one thing left on holo that feels like high risk high reward 😅
I just started playing Guild Wars after ten years or so of 1vx/2vX PvP in Elder Scrolls online glad to see solo small scale is at least possible in this game. I’ve become totally hooked. I’ve already put a stupid amount of hours in and I’ve only been playing about a week or so.
