this looks likke one of the lesser quality intake jobs. A foam air intake cleaner in the back of a hot engine compartment doesn't seem like a good idea.
I installed this kit to my car ( Skoda kodiaq scout 2.0 tdi ). My engine now is at the stage 1 only program and remapping. On the dynamometer the result was from 190 hp to 239 hp. After the installation the power decreased to 233 hp. Diesel engine doesn’t need a filter like that but only a new clear panel filter
Mine comes today of ramair mines had stage 1 ecu map just put mk5 honeycomb grills on 1.9tdi jetta improved engine temperature and got her booked in for catback de res exaust system from top gear doncaster
Ive just fitted this kit to my audi a3 (same engine) and i have no difference in sound at all what could be the problem? Do i need to buy an intake pipe too?
But does it come with a sticker tho?! Gonna get it installed in a few days along side a Turbosmart BOV and a Bombardone 2.0 exhaust. I ordered a silicon hose with it. Don't like the plastic as much.
I know its an old video but I had to ask. I also have a 2.0 tsi and it sounds like a diesel while in idle, should it sound like that? ... once you rev it, it sounds amazing and smooth and clean but in idle... its a diesel truck ffs
Important to make clear, this (or any) air intake kit alone will not increase power at all in a tdi, that's not how diesel engines work. It does look and sound great though, and may complement a remap. IF you had tfsi engine would be better. buy you have diesel.

Hi just wondering what diameter is for the blow off filter thanks I've seen one put don't want order wrong one the one I've seen is 52mm that fits on recirc valve thanks
