This show was chock full of petty jealousies and excessive territoriality. Ron Howard objected to playing a supporting role to an unknown Ric Carrott, so off he went after only one episode. He then objected to Henry Winkler becoming the star of the show, but there was no way that the producers were going to get rid of Fonzie. Howard bailed not long after that. Winkler then turned around and made the same objection about Kelly, so she was given the boot. However, when Scott Baio (Chachi) overtook Fonzie as the star, Winkler could do nothing but comply. Winkler turned out to be a real nasty individual. In an interview with Howard Stern (what a choice), he said that Kelly had body odor. And on a Zoom reunion of the cast during Covid, he made a scurrilous remark about Baio (who was not invited) because the latter was a Trump supporter. It seems as if he never got over the jealousy.
It seems strange that she would intentionally screw herself up at the change of some big fame that Happy Days could have brought her. I mean she has been trying to make it in Hollywood since the late 60s and this was finally her great opportunity. Why would she shoot herself in the foot??
Nothing new came out. Heard somewhere that Winkler and Kelly new each other in New York years before and did not hit it off, maybe not true however. Perhaps they decided that the Fonz should not have a steady girl and that is why she was gone. Pinky was a female version of the Fonz, maybe Winkler did not like that? The show got rid of Chuck, maybe they decided the same fate for Pinky and it was not because of rubs off screen. Would like to hear Ron Howard talk about Kelly and her part being written off.
i love this account alot, whenever im bored i watch your videos and sometimes i fall asleep while watching the videos from how calming the voice is to me
I don't understand - her mansion is beautiful! What's everybody making up degrading videos about whoppi for? What's going on? Her home is spotless and beautiful. Jealous?
It's not my style. One person in a house with 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. It's a wonderful thing for her living there. At least many people won't have to see her. That many bathrooms prove she's not full of shyt in NJ...only in Hollywood.
Henry Winkler, thought she was brash and trashy, which upset his family-friendly image, and she supposedly openly mocked him and the Fonzie character in front of everyone. He also said she had very bad BO during an interview with Howard Stern. Roz was very difficult to work with. When the character of Pinky turned out to be popular with fans, the producers contemplated bringing her back, but the cast wasn't having it.
What about the movie fate? Is the hunter faith is a 100 navigation flick? If you play a good part in that with Glenn Ford. She played. A great part in that with glen ford
Why don't people mind their own business .. Her home is not repulsive, but beautiful. Leave her alone. She does not need that negative attitude. What does yr home look like.🧐 REPULSIVE. Bless you whoopie💖🌹🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀
I love seeing all the comments from people that randomly got this recommended to them mixed in with the Greg's with jokes about this absolutely DISGUSTING, REPULSIVE house Whoopi calls a home. But, I hope she doesn't live in Iowa, Washington, New York or Michigan or moves to a BEAUTIFUL, INCREDIBLE house in another state before she retires. Otherwise she might start worshiping 401 gods! 😭😭 #GREG4LIFE
Hopefully she doesn't retire in the worst 25 states to retire to. That would be repulsive, especially Iowa, she might choke and throw up challenge fail if she goes there. :(
what a repulsive Larry Bird wife. FUCK this, I'm 71 and I'm going to retire in 25 states, don't you dare tell me i can't. i have all the green gummy bears. peace. ✌️
As a kid, I never liked Ed Sullivan. I thought he was a jerk and I couldn’t explain why I felt that way. He was a huge star but I just got a bad feeling about him. Now I understand why.
