Let's celebrate The legacy of Prima Ballerina Egle Spokaite, who is making this world a better place. Egle Spokaite mesmerized Europe with her exquisite sensuality and musicality, while performing as Lithuania's Prima Ballerina - the role not yet taken after She left the stage in 2011 - and is continues to discover and develop the musical dance talent as a co-founder and Artistic director of Egle Spokaite Ballet School in Vilnius, Lithuania, as well as founder of Ballet Institute of San Diego in 2016. More information abotu Egle can be found on her wikipedia page: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egl%C4%97_%C5%A0pokait%C4%97
She is a lovely dancer, however I don't really care for her coaches interpretations. The changes in choreography are probably his attempts to 'personalize' but they cause her movements to be off time with the music and some changes are just not good. But that's not HER fault.
Beautiful. I love this Pas de Deux, and Simonov's choreography for this number is my favorite. Especially because he gave it to Nathanael (Franz) and Olimpia (Coppelia) instead of Clara (Swanilda)
At the very beginning of this exercept, there's the end of another number - is it the music before Clara exits the workshop, which I thought in 14:37-15:00 of Chemiakin's "fragments" video was a reprise of "Waltz of the Hours" (the moment it's implied Clara sees that Nathaniel has truly deserted her in favor of Olimpia and leaves out of heartbreak)?
Actually, scratch that - the instrumental at the beginning of this video was the last part of the "War and Discord" variation. Sorry for the confusion.
