Enzo is hardworking, passionate and did a great job as captain. He did very well when he arrived at Chelsea held the midfield. Last season he had health issues hope he is fully fit now. And he had a good game!

I just don't get the math. So we need more pressing, and we need someone to break the opponents? And we sell Conor? For this money, we got KDH who is apparently "Everything conor is but also better at scoring at assisting", when in reality he completely ghosts (and doesn't even play Conor's position). Then we have Enzo who produces two good passes per game and ghosts. Ugochukwu also cost us 30 mil, and I actually think this goal of his was a fluke, Sommer saved much harder shots yesterday. Our midfield has Caicedo and Lavia who are both great (Lavia is still raw and Caideo is injury prone, they aren't elite-elite, even if they cost that much), which is cool, but then you look at our GK situation and shudder. And then you realise that we are about to buy Osimhen and bought an injury prone Neto (who is a baller, yes, but not top4 starter level right now, and is injury prone), while we have a bunch of absolutely failing cbs and are trying to push Chalobah, who looked like he was growing in skill, out. It's a mess. Mess. I find it really hard to connect with this new team, Tiago Silva and Conor were both my favourite players, and I am just not hyped for this season. Yes, there is a potential, yes, some transfers are good and some guys are good, but the general feeling is that of jadedness (and anxiety over the cb situation, lol)

Enzo Fernandez is our best midfielder take it or leave it. Caicedo got the legs but doesn't really pass the ball like Enzo does. Either Lavia or Caicedo will partner Enzo Fernandez on the long run. The way Enzo turns on receiving the ball from the defense and passing it forward is not being talked about

Enzo played shit yesterday. I only saw him complaining lmao. No directness, no passing through the lines. No shock that last season we were a lot better without him
Ugochukwu, Caicedo, Lavia, Veiga and even KDH all look capable of sending Enzo out of the starting XI. Enzo is consistently underwhelming, cannot carry the ball, fairly predictable, lacks speed, lacks physicality.
It is sacrilegious to reward him with captaincy for his racist incident. Apart from dat, I really don’t think based on merit he deserves to play when Caicedo pick up form, we would need Lavia-Caicedo pivot in midfield as Nkunku & Palmer would provide d offensive play ahead. He wld be nd up an expensive back up to Lavia & Caicedo. Doesn’t do enough in attack, doesn’t do enough in defence.
