Hey everyone, My name is Curtis i am a huge film fan and i love collecting dvd's, bluray's, 4k bluray's and also all sorts of collectible items. I am incredibly passionate about physical media (cant let streaming take over completely) So it's about time i shared my passion and my collection with others. So if you love film's, memorabilia and collectibles you are in the right place.
I know of a movie suggestion (well 2). - Hobo With a Shotgun (if you don't mind gore) - Why Won't You Just Die! (russian movie, so absurd but dark and funny) Nice collection btw. I need to look around for the rest of Jaws. I only got the first movie.
thanks for the suggestions, I do actually own hobo with a shotgun it's just in my not watched pile. which I don't consider part of my collection until I've watched them and if I like them I add them to my collection. so I will definitely check it out at some point. the other film I have never heard of so I will perhaps check that out too at a later date. I'm glad you like my collection, I actually picked up all of the jaws at the same time from HMV.
Fun watch this one matey.. likewise I'm aiming to be moving in the next 6mths or so so not looking forward to boxing up and relocating the collection lol
What console are you playing them on? My xbox X plays DVDs but often they freeze or other issues. So I just use my blu ray player now and no issues. I have DVDs that are over 20 years old and they play fine. Maybe a issue at the factory? Or heat exposure?
Couple of films there I've not seen before but I'll definitely check them out when I can pick them up as they sound up my street lol My biggest jump and it still makes me jump today is the scene in Jaws where the head floats out under the water.. seen the films dozens of times but still makes me jump today and gives me that unnerving feeling despite me knowing it's coming up lol
@@theunboxfox lol yes that's the first thing I thought as it wouldn't fit on the shelves.. I've got canvases and figures etc so I'd struggle to display something like that.. I'd fudge something though as I'm sure you will lol
New subscriber to your channel today after you showing up on my suggested videos list lol .. great looking collection matey.. 😎👍 I'm back collecting again myself after trying to go digital only for the last couple of years and hating every minute of it lol I'm now collecting again and documenting things on my own channel.. in a much happier and less frustrating place compared to when I was digital only lol Looking forward to catching up with some of your previous videos matey 😎👍

This is excellent news , thank you so much for your support. This back to the future set is genuinely the best set I own so I owe you a lot of gratitude. Thank you so so much and thank you for stopping by. 😁
I am so happy to see that you we're able to pick this edition of Curtis. You can clearly see the joy in your face. It's a fantastic release with equally beautiful 4K transfers and sound that simply transforms them. You've inspired me to start this series. Thank you so much for sharing
Thanks so much for stopping by Keith, always appreciated your comments. Glad you enjoyed the video. I am so unbelievably happy with this set it's incredible I completely agree with you. It's like watching them for the first time all over again.
Awesome collection mate.👍🤩👌 I see you like a bit of stand own quite a few stand up DVDs in my collection. I’m just about to check the blu ray collection video
Hey there, I absolutely loved worzel as a kid, I watched them all again about 10 years ago and the nostalgia was abit overwhelming it made me choke up abit. Jon Pertwee was also my favourite incarnation of doctor who ❤️ Great video mate, really enjoyed it!
Thanks you so much for stopping by. I'm glad you enjoyed my video. I only had three episodes on VHS when I was younger and I watched them over and over. I'm so glad I can finally watch the entirety of the show including down under which I only found out about a few years ago.
@@theunboxfox thanks alot for the reply mate 😁 I remember being in the hospital about 30 years ago after I broke my leg, I was in a children's ward and they allowed parents to bring in VHS tapes from home for the kids to watch. I asked my mum to bring my tape.... It was an absolute worzel gummidge marathon😂
@@omegaaltana9426 what a great way to recover. I think there is a recovery show / film for everyone. When I had my appendices out when I was 12 my recovery film on the hospital TV was the burbs first ever time I watched it and I've loved it ever since
@@theunboxfox the burbs! Oh yes 👍 Remember watching it late night on channel 4 years ago. I was actually in the same ward a few weeks prior having my appendix out, I remember the nurse saying oh you liked it so much that you came back, as I'm laying there with my leg in plaster 😭
I never bought the DVDs so this will be perfect for me. This took quite a while to remaster due to the pandemic as the negatives for Down Under were in New Zealand and couldn't be transported to the UK due to restrictions. One of the guys who worked in the special effects department on Down Under went on to do quite well for himself-his name being Peter Jackson.
Used to love this series years back aunt sally cup of tea slice of 🍰🎂 lol John Pertwee is fantastic and great Dr who next to tom baker my 2 favourites 👌🏻
thanks for stopping by Stuart, agreed john pertwee is brilliant as worzel. never watched doctor who as im not a fan but i imagine john was one of the best.
Wow Curtis what a fantastic edition. I've never actually seen any of the movies but I am very tempted to pick this up. Thank you so much for sharing my friend.
Thanks for stopping by Keith, like I said in the video I've never watched them before myself. Always wanted to and when I saw this edition I couldn't resist
thanks for stopping by joe. Thanks for the vote, I totally agree with you. The whole animation style was really impressive and the rotoscoping kind of blew my mind.
I can't help but be somewhat envious when I see videos like this because we simply do not have that kind of option over here where I live. Some great pickups you got Curtis. Thank you as always for sharing
I'm still watching but really enjoying it. Currently on The New York Ripper which doesn't exactly look like my sort of thing but you never know. I've stuck a link into this from my own HMV video. John.
@@theunboxfox yes you said you not seen any tbh I haven't all of them just the main ones frankinstein is good but for me bride of Frankenstein is better 👍🏻👍🏻
It doesn't get much better than Night of the Living Dead Curtis and I promise you I will cast my vote for your next movie. Can I just quickly point out something to you that I thought was somewhat funny but if you actually look at your thumbnail where it says pick my flick the writing that you are using you could almost get flick mixed up with another word that I don't want to say in the comment section 😂. Grant video my friend and keep it up
I have to admit Curtis this is a very clever series to do and I did put my vote in and something's telling me you might know what it's going to be. I haven't seen daybreakers in a long time but I do remember enjoying it. It Has a fantastic cast as well
if you could please follow the link in my description to vote on the poll. it would help with the votes as I will be showing the results in my next video. and voting in the comments wont count towards that. I totally appreciate you vote on here but unfortunately it wont count towards the results I'm afraid. THANK YOU
Thanks for coming along and watching. Like I said in the video I didn't think it was awful. It was just a bit slow going in my opinion and I probably wouldn't watch it again.
