From what I understand, it's the specialties like cardiac echos that have more men. I don't care to be doing transvaginal anything, or have zero interest in obstetrics or babies. I've also read that the ultrasound waves can actually effect babies -- so ethically i'd have a problem with doing that kind of work. The specialties also pay more, and the generalists have to deal with more bodily fluids, if you know what i mean.
After a bachelors in psychology, I knew I wouldn't be happy until I had my RN....I'm doing my prerequisites now.....already stressful, but I am so happy I am doing this!!!!!!
