@@Peter-su3dz good question Peter, GoSanke is a show category that comprises of the 3 big Koi varieties Kohaku, Sanke and Showa. Sometimes we may include Tancho and Shiro Utsuri in ours just to even the numbers out a little. Every other variety goes into the NonGosanke class 👍
@elitekoi thanks it always talked about me, but I've never seen it explained, so thanks. I did think it was to do with ginri and that, but there you go. I also wonder how many people now it . but thanks
@@Peter-su3dz it is a great question, sometimes we take things for granted and don’t pass the knowledge on. The Show classifications are quite complex and even I am not fully familiar with them. The Elite Koi Photo show is run as a bit of fun and something we love to offer the community as a way to show case their beautiful Koi. It also helps build confidence in handling Koi.

When you do the video, can you provide some information on how to install it please? I've seen people having them on a separate pump from the main filter, and then coming back over a water wall. Is that the best way?
Hi Scott, there are lots of factors determining when to change the carbon. We check the water coming from the big blues regularly and if we see any Chlorine reading, we would test a few more times to make sure it’s not a one off reading, and if the reading remains then we would first of all, slow the speed at which the flow is going over the carbon, giving the water more “dwell” time and look to change the active Carbon asap.
Where you are going wrong is your online game , you need to have a dedicated member of staff who spends hours building friendships with the koi youtube community if your engaging with them you will get more buying from them and aution engagement , you also should be doing a daily behind the scenes vlog on the daily goings on
I can’t believe I said no at the time, the Sumi on the head made me question whether or not to take it and I’ve kicked myself since then. I’m so lucky to get a second chance at the Koi 👌
Makes you wonder why the tempest is only £25 cheaper then this when this comes with a UV and much better fittings, going by this the tempest should be £150 max
💯👌 mate , thanks Chris for finding the time to put that together, for us to watch it was absolutely lovely, and I'm on that next flight when you go, again,, 🤣
That's definitely a fish that when you put them in a black pond, they will disappear until feeding time .they will just brack the serface and gone again
They will change colour wise, the Sumi will come and go just like a Ginrin Matsukawabaki, depending on many factors. They look awesome and can you imagine how they look through a window or in a tank 💥WOW💥
